Are you sure it was the most recent recall? From what I understand parts are just now coming available.
I started one of the first star cases on this in 2019 & fought it for that long with FCA. Now that they release what is supposed to be a real fix my dealer or case manager never even let...
I had new tires put on recently and and on the drive home I heard something and hit under the truck pretty hard. I pulled over and noticed that the center cap was missing.
I bought a new center cap from Ebay and confirmed the part number is correct but the thing wont stay in at all. Do these...
This is exactly the symptoms I gave FCA back in 2019, I opened a star case and did all this troubleshooting only to be told nothing was wrong. Now a year a a half later they come out with a TSB that read almost exactly to the T on the symptoms I gave them in lemon law case that was dismissed by...
I went to the trouble to file a lemon law claim after the 4th attempt and it was a waste of time. FCA fought it tooth and nail even lying several times in the response to the arbitrator. Basically the HVAC isnt a critical component and since the truck didnt break down they the arbitrator...
There is a another AC thread on here will the same issue. I bet if you get a probe and check you own vent temps you will see about a 7-10 degree difference between driver and passenger side. The dealer has worked on mine three times. Each time they say they find a leak and fix it then evac and...
I live in Indiana and my AC sucks, there is an issue with it for sure. My vent temp are well over 50 degrees all the time yet FCA will tell you 55 degrees is in spec lol
The HeaterTreater replaces any of the plastic doors in the Dodge Ram HVAC system with steel. Replacing the existing doors with another plastic door is at best a stop-gap solution. The failure is a result of excessive forces generated by the DC servo motor in the calibration of the door.
If you...
I have fixed many issues like this in other FCA vehicles. You are dealing with little bitty soft plastic gears in the actuators any slight tolerance issue and the actuators with eat the gears and fall apart. If the actuators dont fall apart then it will break the stops, blend door and or, the...
Not sure what I am going to do, pretty much not going to be able to replicate It again this year it’s too cool now. Just really disappointed in Chrysler ATM.
The talking heads at FCA ask me to make another video after the third failed attempt to fix my HVAC. So decided to share with all
For those of you just using the valve at some point your blend door will break and it’s going to cost you thousands to get fixed if your warranty expires...

Your screwed. Thanks to Ram until you meet the lemon law requirements for your state they won’t do anything. Then you have to sue them good luck. This is my last Chrysler.
More info here as far as the vent temps specs go, the temps list are at 1000 rpms not idle so I am assuming 60 degrees at idle is going to be considered in spec.
