Well... You can definitely hear a nice rumble upon cold start, but it mellows out pretty quickly as soon as it tachs down. I can't speak to whether or not it will wake up your infants, but can speak to the cab sound level. I work in sales and talk to my customers often on the blue tooth phone...
Speaking from experience, I wouldn't expect a huge difference in sound after installing the resonator with the S-Type. While it does cut a little "edge" off the tone, it's not a huge change. For the record though, I loved the tone to start with and only installed the resonator so I didn't have...
I'd also vote for the S-Type. I'm in sales and regularly have phone conversations with customers while tooling down the road in my S-Type equipped RAM. I've never had a single one of them ever mention the sound of the exhaust, or had any trouble hearing what they are saying. If it turns out it...
I live over in the eastern part of the state too, but lived in the Seattle area in the late eighties when one storm dumped about 15" before all was said and done. There were so many cars abandoned on the roads it looked like someone had torched off a neutron bomb. :ROFLMAO:
It goes up in front of the muffler and you only need one. I don't know that I'd call the install "plug and play", but it's not too complicated. Here's a link to see for yourself:

Hope that helps...
Well worth the $$$ IMHO.... Even though I had already installed the rear 2" drop springs and 1.5" wheels spacers (which improved handling substantially), the change to the Hellwig sway bar made a noticeable difference as well. It would have been interesting to see how just changing the sway bar...
Quick update... I haven't had a chance to move it to the firmest setting, but at 55 mph in that corner, ESC kicks in so maybe 60 ain't such a good idea... ;)
Well... mine isn't technically "aftermarket" either, but for now I'm rolling (literally) with stock 19.05 offset Laramie wheels, powder coated gunmetal, shod with 275/65/18 Cooper A/Ts, bumped out with 1.5" Bora spacers:
(please excuse crappy enlarged & cropped cell phone pic showing stance)
Hey brother... You thinking about going the other way from your 6" lift? I think @ Hockeydad used the Maxtracs but you can also go the Pro Comp route too. Either way, they both work great:
