In the same boat being a Georgia resident. Holding out on selling my current truck as I would rather trade-in for the right number to get the tax savings! FWIW Carmax gave the best price on my trade and VROOM was an insult. Vroom also waits to pay you until they take it to their facility to...
Depends! I was in sales a few years ago and a customer swiped his business credit card for $15K no problem. I am unclear if because business or he called 1st for approval.
I understand your point of view. The main thing is this feature comes with Laramie Level 1 until they recently removed it because of the chip shortage. I believe part of a larger package $1,795-$1,995 that includes blind spot and cross traffic and a few other goodies. My wife has a 2017 Acura...
Thats wild! Based on rebates Laramie is $2,500 and big horn is $3,750... Surely half the stuff he wanted likely standard on a Laramie. By time you check all those boxes... I know I mentioned this before but a highly option Big Horn vs Laramie the laramie will certainly hold more value for trade...
Possibility he has some trucks that are not listed on his website that would closely match what you are looking for. I would give him a email see about getting you a new truck soon!
New incentives are live on Ramtrucks . I did not screen shot them from last month but they do appear to be the same. Possibly a little more on the Laramie.
2 Years?! I got Allstate up from $600 to $3200 on $6K worth of damage to my then 3 year old Grand Cherokee. All within a matter of a week. I did use a independent appraiser that cost me $300. He ran came out assessed the damage, made comparison and then made a demand letter. Happily pay his fee...
I agree! To make sense here in Ga the taxable difference makes it worth $51.5 K ($4K tax on his new $62k truck vs $970 on taxable difference) Sure he could've slapped for sale and market it out there... Maybe he can pull it out of the deal since truck isn't here yet. He has 8-10 weeks to move it...
Based on his other post it was a laramie with around 35k miles. The KBB trade-in is very close to that. Depending on his state it could save him on taxes for the difference in taxable value. In return making it technically more into $50+ on trade in.
If you are regularly towing that much I would definetly consider a diesel or more likely a 2500/3500. You having a limited could be good trade in maybe get into a Laramie cummins at decent price.
Better deals to be had likely first problem I see is the ECODIESEL... I would avoid that! Reg hemi will suite just fine. If you are spending that much and want a diesel I would go 2500
I'd say taking the trade out the equation is your better bet! That is a pretty nice deal! We aren't going to get into BMW and depreciation talk... lol. Go get your truck! Congrats!
