    Turbo lag / Throttle response

No, it hasn’t had the TSB but this wasn’t normal lag, which I’m all too familiar with in the Ecodiesel, this literally wouldn’t move even though I was jamming the accelerator. Trading this away for something else but I wish all of you the best with yours.

    Turbo lag / Throttle response

Nearly t-boned by another truck today pulling left out of my neighborhood with my daughter in the car. Plenty of distance when I pressed the gas to enter the lane but the truck just inched along regardless of punching the accelerator. Fortunately the on-coming truck had sufficient time to slow...

    Air Conditioning Fix

Has anyone attempted a fix for the A/C issues with the 1500's? I got the typical "normal operation" from the two dealers I took it to around here. I ordered "Muzzy's AC hack for Ram" from Amazon which several people on the hemi side of the house have used and swear by it. I was hoping someone...

    2021 eco diesel gas mileage

Final tally for week long round trip from Dayton, OH to Sarasota, FL and back was 2228 miles. Lieometer shows 27.2 and hand calc and through Fuelly is 26.3 mpg. Great for leadfooting it on the way home...much more so than the 74 I had the cruise set to on the trip down there.

    2021 eco diesel gas mileage

Mine is stock, with the 3.92. I normally get low to mid 20’s but not this time. Not gonna complain, I’m thrilled with it.

    2021 eco diesel gas mileage

Finished up the trip; 1017 miles and the lieometer shows 28.6. Hand calculated was 27.8. Speed went up as I got closer so the mileage suffered a bit from the first half. All together it exceeded my expectations. Return trip next week, so I’ll update the post then.

    2021 eco diesel gas mileage

Currently on a trip from Dayton Ohio to Sarasota Florida. Total payload with me, wife, two adult daughters, bags, etc is around 750 pounds. Cruise set to 74mph. First fill up was at 460 miles with readout showing 300 miles of range left. Lieometer showed 29.2mpg. Took 16.3 gallons so actual was...

    Recommended vs REQUIRED oil spec

I know Pennzoil meets it, I was hoping the Valvoline would retain their MS12991 rating because it was only $23 for the big jug. Pisses me off that up to 3 months ago, the bottle showed the MS12991 standard and when they redid it to the "European" label, they took it off. Oh well.

    Recommended vs REQUIRED oil spec

Just followed up with Valvoline via the question and answer section of their listing in Amazon and they're now saying it does NOT meet specifications for MS-12991. Ridiculous that 3 or 4 months ago it did, but now suddenly it doesn't. I pasted the response to my question which is showing up on...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed Noco AC plug below the front bumper. Nice to be able to plug it in without opening the hood. Placement is nearly invisible unless you bend down to see it. Silicon tape wrapped the extension plug points so no concerns about water getting in.

What did you do to your Ram today???

For all the people upgrading their wheels/tires...what do you do with your old one's? Is there a "For Sale" thread somewhere on this board? I have a 2020 Laramie with stock rims/tires and I'd be interested in grabbing some of the original stock tires for down the road.

What did you do to your Ram today???

No, the ecodiesels come with the heater so all you have to do is purchase and plug in the cord. From there it’s just deciding whether or not you want to install an aftermarket outlet like the noco or not. Cord was $42 from the dealer. Took 15 minutes start to finish.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Hardest part was plugging in the wire. I was just barely able to reach it over the tire in the wheel well. I ran the extension cord along the passenger side of the engine compartment to the front and straight down to the inside of the bumper. I zip tied it in a few locations along the way...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Installed block heater cable. Noco weather proof outlet protector going in under the bumper once I get the 2” hole cutter. No more sitting in an ice box in the morning.

    Ecodiesel and extreme cold

For the block heater, is it okay to leave it plugged in overnight or for long durations (12+ hours)? If not, I'll look into a timer I could set to start an hour or two prior to when I expect to leave.

    EcoDiesel Mileage Report

How accurate is the range gauge? Has anyone determined how much fuel is left when it says 0? I never let my tank get that low, just curious.

    EcoDiesel Mileage Report

584 mile west bound trip to KC. 25mpg via Fuelly. Dash showed 25.4 so very little disparity this time. Should be better going back east. 700lbs payload and 75mph average speed.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Did my first oil change at 3,800 miles. Replaced the oil drain valve with the Valvomax Quick Twist drain valve to make future changes easier and less messy. Used a couple gallon freezer bags to get the filter off with very little to no spillage. Next up is to give her bath and another coat of TW...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Received my Lasfit all-weather floor mats. Letting the rear mat warm up and flatten out a bit before installing. Black Friday sale...only $100 for the set on Amazon. Will add pics later today.
