I have the Borla ATAK and it drones like crazy when towing. Drives me insane. Sounds great when not towing.

Just going to throw this out there, love the Atak but it will drive you crazy when towing long distances. Went from Denver to Moab with the pop up and it was awful. Maybe a resonator would help? Let me know.

Yeah storage boxes open. Lots of room for dogs and manly stuff back there now. Here is my “drawing” looks like a crazy person made it right now. But I’ll redraw with better dimensions if I get time. Basically traced out 1:1 on cardboard to check fit.

Good idea with the orange peel for texture. That is sprayed with bed liner. I did a black coat of spray paint then topped it with bed liner. The orange coat would be good to hide my imperfections and screw holes.

Built this sub box to fit under the rear seats. Currently have two 10” kenwood shallow mounts. But should be able to fit two regular 10” w3’s.

But I’m becoming less of a purist and am enjoying playing with the other colors you can choose from

I used Korjo from Amazon. It’s really bright and has twice the LEDs as the Govee setup. I bought both. But the solid white comes off a little purple, there are some preset color mixes that get pretty close to the Ram white. The Govee white looked awesome but I couldn’t get them to default to...

No problems with the plastic melting. It fills the exhaust cut outs real nice. Looks better than stock in my opinion. also I second what @Klicht87 says. Keep them all loose until everything lines up then tighten.

Yeah it was really obvious. Here is a picture. Borla was cool and is sending me a new drivers side exhaust. Here are some pics. For the most part it fit really well. You can see the tip that was way off. Borla was cool and recognized the problem and is sending a new drivers side exhaust now.

I have the Atak on mine and they sent me the wrong driver side exhaust tip. Make sure you ordered the right one. If you attach pics I’ll compare to my setup. Borla had sent me a classic ram 1500 tip. Email them and send pics they can be helpful if they respond. [email protected]

Put some underglow on. Usually have it set to white and it comes on with cargo/entry lights and is awesome. Matches the entry mirror lights perfect. Blue shows up good in pictures though and fulfills my 2fast2furious high school years.

^car play works well now. You do have to do something weird to get the head unit to put itself in a amplifier mode. It was easy and is spelled out in the manual. It was like turn the car on and off and put the left blinker on and pat your head.

I installed on a 2020 bighorn 6 speaker system with ANC. The can bus is on the left near the fuses when sitting in the passenger seat. Check out the picture. Kind of bad but should help. connect to the green block with the white plugs. It’s a t-harness, so one side of our plug will go into...

Ended up using a pre tapped hole on the back wall behind drivers side rear seat For the ground. M10 1.25. DSR1 is working really well. Had some issues when I had it on high input signal, but maestro and Rockford said to use the low input. Much cleaner, and less noise now.

If anyone has a nice tune for the 6 speaker ram from a DSR1 I would love to try it out. Just throwing it out there.

Well I was way off about the harness thing. The CH3 goes behind the radio. Use the ANC bypass on the ANC. Got the DSR1 installed on my truck today and seems pretty awesome. No problems at all. Need to find a better ground for my amps.
