Hi all, I have had this issue of not working after the truck sits for an hour or so pretty much since I have had it except for a few days right after I got it. I think I figured out a pattern. Couple weeks ago, it worked 4 times in a row when I tried it, then it stopped for a couple weeks...

Well, figures I spoke to soon, tried yesterday and today, same old crap, no response. Seems weird that it worked several times for me and then back to nada!! Hoepfully that software update releases soon.

From a message I saw of his the other day, I think he has a 1500 Classic, so I don't think he has the 12" radio we all have. TT

What version of software on your radio, can you post pics of your radio info screen?

My guardian has been active since November when I bought it, unless that has somethign to do with the whole issue of my Uconnect not working after truck is off for a hour.

Grinch, Does your remote start/vehicle locate?etc work with the new radio? or has yours always worked?

Well, I have the Harmon Kardon system in my truck, is that made by panasonic? With just HK speakers? If not then I would be surprised if a new radio fixes it. As i doubt two manufacturers would have same problem. The SGW would make sense if it can go to sleep, does the sgw handle keyfob...

Yeah it's weird, Sunday was in a movie for 90+ minutes, and for some reason, i thought I would try remote start, and it worked. Tired it again yesterday after work, back to normal.....didn't work! I am beginning to wonder if cell coverage or something affects it as well, as mine hasn't worked...

you have 8.4 display, the problems are only with the 12 inch model from what I can tell. TT

This whole UConnect thing is just weak, it was obviously sent to production too soon on the 12" screen, since thigns like the status with mileage and vehicle reports not available, plus this remote start only for an hour after the truck shuts off. I have pinged @RamCares on here multiple...
