I bought a used 2019 in 2020 and its been a great truck. The only issue I've had was the rear window being replaced due to leaking, but it didn't cost me anything but the time to drive it to the dealership. No hassle from the dealership either. Its comfy as hell to drive and I still think...
I would consider a F150 again. I really enjoyed that truck until it was damaged in a collision and was never the same after. The 3.5L Ecoboost for towing is just a beast.....I love how the RPMs stay low and has a ton of power. The Powerboost would be an attractive option for camping, and...
I have to say I loved the way my 3.5 Ecoboost towed. That low end torque is amazing on those engines and it was nice not having to rev higher to get that torque out of the engine like you do for the Hemi.
The 'Sport Mode' was a hell of a lot of fun on that truck too!
I don't have anything to offer you in the way of advice, but I just wanted to say that is an awful story. Please share the name so that no one does business with them. That is shady as hell, and I do think you should be headed to the dealer, make them cut you a cheque and be done with them...
I have to say I really struggle with this whole movement to ban gas powered light trucks/cars by a certain year. I realize you can't stop progress, but an electric truck will not have the range or the towing capacity that a gasoline engine provides. I feel that it will be really hard to tow a...
Geezus, I get 11.5 mpg hauling my 29' holiday trailer.....10.5mpg seems pretty low. When I'm not hauling, I'm around 18 or 19mpg around the city. I would say I only drive it hard when I need to, and try to drive it with the ECO light on. I try to run 92 octane in it....I will burn 94 when I'm...
It might be worth your time to take your truck and trailer to an RV dealership to have them properly set up your WDH for you. When I purchased my Equalizer, the store had me come there with the truck and they installed it onto the trailer, and then the tech spent more time fine tuning...
Yep I would absolutely get a second opinion, or swap it out for a new one. My battery crapped out on me as well and the dealer did find it faulty and swapped it out on warranty. I wouldn't want to have that worry in the back of my head while I'm trying to enjoy a vacation. Happy travels!
Since we were asked for our 2 cents, here is mine. I had a 6'4" in my previous truck (F150 Lariat). Yeah I could fit more in it. I never liked the way it looked though....felt long and cumbersome and it certainly parked that way. Did not enjoy having to park it in tight spots. I knew right...
Hi all,
I've been doing some searching online and I can't seem to find the part number for the chrome window trim for a 2019 Limited. I have a small dent in the passenger side window trim (the one on the bottom of the passenger window), and I was just looking to replace it. I had the truck in...
I would take your truck to the dealership and have them check the battery. If it is faulty, they should replace it under warranty. That was my experience.
Yep I'll second everyone else's opinion here. Sounds like a faulty battery. I had starting issues a couple months ago and when I finally got it boosted, I had the dash light up like a Christmas tree with all the warning lights. Took the truck to the dealership, they tested the battery and it...
Geezus Murphy......of all the things that go wrong with these vehicles sometimes, you have to deal with this one too!?? I would have never thought that this would be a problem....I've never dealt with it here and I don't know of anyone who has either. Sure, mice get into farm vehicles, but...
I had mine replaced last week, and from getting the truck in and the window done was about a 3 week process. I brought the STAR case into the dealership with me, but the service guy told me not to worry about it when I showed him.......his truck had the same problem. The fix was approved by...
