Thank you to everyone who helped me make sure I was getting a decent deal. I feel like I did ok on price but more importantly, I got the build I wanted, which seems to be pretty rare.
Got my truck last night and didn't get home til after 2am but it was worth it.
I also ended up buying the...
Thanks, I'm excited and hope nothing weird happens after I driving 4hours.
So I'm new to trucks and have never heard of bedrug. At first glance, I was like wtf is going on with these guys putting carpet in the back of their pickup truck... 10 min later after watching the videos, I'm thinking...
Thank you. I don't think I have it in me to push it any more. I'm getting a way better deal than the places around me and I couldn't find another truck with this configuration within 700 miles. The 1695 is **** but finance manager basically told me it's a marketing thing that most dealerships in...
I'm not sure I did as good as some of the deals you guys share in this thread but I am def in better shape than my local dealership. I just need to get my 1k deposit back.
I'm kind of in the same boat but bc I can't have them run my credit until tomorrow bc I'm closing on a refi for my home. That said I'm driving 4 hours after I close but if the rate is bad, I'll just go get a new note at the credit union. There aren't any early pre payment penalties.
I just made a deal with Lustine in VA and driving 4 hours. It's the exact truck I want but I didn't know etorque wasn't good. Are a lot of people having problems with it?
The Deposit was 1K and in a fit of frustration with me the sales guy actually offered to give it back, I've really been haggling him on the price. I'm not too worried about the 1K, I'm pretty sure they can't keep it if I don't buy a truck. Not to mention, at this point the deposit doesn't even...
So I just found the exact truck I want with the crew cab and 6'4" bed, I'm pretty excited about that. They seem to be rare. Is there anything I need to know that would deter me from wanting the extra bed space?
I'm torn if I should try to just work the deal with the dealership that has the...
So on the deal for the Big Horn he also put in a 500 rebate because I am buying it under a business name. He said that was available on the Laramie but when I asked for the list of rebates I qualify for, it wasn't on the list.
But why not take the 1,000 then refi? Are the costs to do that more than 1,000. On the Bog Horn, I was told $1,500 of the rebates were contingent on FCA financing. On the Laramie, they are saying 500 is.
This is a great question and I was wondering the same. I did read this for qualifying for a new car note:
Must be prior, current or upcoming year model with 10,000 miles or less
That said, still unsure about the associated fees to set up the initial loan or to transfer it to a new lender.
Update
So after everyone's input on here, I decided to look at the Laramie night edition. It's going to end up costing about 10K more but the truck certainly makes me more excited. I still don't think I'm getting a great deal but they don't seem to be budging and the other dealerships I've...
Thank you so much, everyone. You all are just a super helpful, friendly group around here =) I'm looking forward to joining and contributing to the community.
Quick question, can the integrated brake controller be added after or is it a pita and won't have the software or whatnot on the screen...
No no, I follow you for sure. Problem is, what should I do now. I like the truck although as others pointed out, at some point I should have just looked at the Laramie. Yet, I feel kinda icky about moving forward as I know I haven't gotten a great deal. Not to mention, I still haven't had the...
