I had the Airlift 1000's in my Excursion when I towed a 35 foot RV. They made a huge difference and when aired down to minimum psi, I couldn't tell they were back there. I liked them. Just my thoughts on the subject. Good luck and I hope you get this sorted out soon.

I just fabbed up a quick-mount out of flat aluminum bar stock I had laying around. I think it worked out pretty well. Keeps that plate up out of the way.

Haven't done it myself. I've seen posts on this forum on how to do it. The back seats have to come out (or least a couple of bolts taken off) to get to the vents. There is a couple of YouTube videos out there also that I watched. Keep us informed on what you end up finding!

There have been some who have had only wet carpets who found that the rear pressure vents behind the back seat were leaking. It's a possibility.
