I've got problems with drivers side. It goes random all the time. Speed sensitive, partly deploys some, won't fully retract, stays mostly out, etc. I just had to unplug that side. Found something with the motor & ram was replacing at 1 time. Part # 68461581AA for left motor. Whole new add on...
I went thru the same problem trying to figure mine out. Laramie, Alpine 9 w/ 8.4 non nav. As far I can tell base share the same speakers, 2 ohm, 6x9 blue poly cone 050643584ab. Use the lowest possible you can get/afford. You are going to have to change the dash or add an amp/rewire for to handle...
93ix are 2.5 ohm. And yes I know about the low pass only. So I modified the built-in cross over to bypass the inductor and let the tweeters get what they could with the capacitor (nothing really) but bass response is better than stock. Probably could have skipped fronts tho. Overall big...
How's your 3032cfx the headliner?
And I can't get covers off. Tips??
I did dash 3, saw someone say it was to much in headliner.
I put infinity kappa 93ix in all doors, added more bass response down to 35k. I'm not planning on adding a sub.

Yes.
Definitely subjective.
I learned (Crutchfield -a grt source, & threads) front doors only rcv low pass from Alpine amp. So that is work around also leaving my 93ix really only giving lows. But range down to 35hz to add that low back a bit.

Alpine 9 is pretty damn good. Def better than base[emoji2961](had a 12,14 &17 with). But lacks if you ever had a real nice system before. There are guys even upgrading HK because they want better. I did the front 1st & it added alot more highs made rest sound dull. So more research... sub...
This is standard on Laramie and up . HK 19 spkr is upgrade on most models accept the upper ends. I put infinity ref 3032cfx 3ohm in dash 3, infinity kappa 93ix 2.5ohm in doors(slight mods to fit). Made a huge difference. Stock are 2 ohm, so you have to use lowest possible unless you want to get...
Not noticeable. I think the improvement in quality and range more than made up for any slight loss. But I wouldn't risk using 4 ohm if they (infinity) are figuring on 1 ohm loss in the crappy thin wires.

I just did mine. Used infinity ref 3032cfx (3 ohm)for dash 3. Doors put infinity kappa 93ix 2.5 ohm 6x9. Rear doors unchanged, but front doors bypassed built in inductor because it only receives low pass from alpine amp anyway. These have bass response down to 35hz compared with most at 40hz+...
Crutchfield has a ton of neat stuff. Kenwood 6 channel amp direct replacement also. Look around under vehicle specific.

Alpine system here too. I've been looking and hunting for ways to upgrade without completely trashing the factory amp and ANC sys. Not really possible without a lot of hassle wiring(larger) and/or spending big bucks.
Go to Crutchfield.com I think you have the wrong connector. you need the...
go to https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/ and they have a tire and rim size calculator. Put in orig and new size it will give you a pretty good estimate list below you can use to measure against.
I have been looking at 1.5- 2" leveling kit and 34"ish tires. I found one somewhere w/o any...
Hi.
I have a Laramie 1500 crew, black leather interior w/ center bench jump seat, and less than 2000 miles. I would like to have center console and am very interested in making a swap trade deal with you if possible. I am not sure of any differences between the the 1500 and 2500, I am sure...
