It’s the tires not the truck!
Hey everyone I have a ram limited with 22” and same vibration...console, door, and accelerator. I have had this for little while and I decided to do some more detail work. Had discount tire do one tire at a time and then rotate front to back and all this and so...
Ok so after much trial and error here is the solution i found. I dropped all air pressure down to 25psi to soften the tires up real good for a day. Theni airedback up to 36psi which is stated on door jam. The front rides amazing smooth now but still have bounce so i said on lets drop back down...
I feel you on this. I have a limited 2019 and it just doesnt feel as soft as my old one. Can figure out what the issue is. What is your air pressure at? I put 275/60/20 on hoping to soften the ride since the old ones had that size but cant get it just right.
What is the air pressure they want it at? I have a limited and i put 275/60/20 and still trying to find the right pressure. Old gen was 40psi and new gen says 36psi
Thanks for the reply but they are XL rated in which discount tire told me tis still considered 4 ply and max psi is only 50psi so I was just wondering maybe the new suspension they have for the air ride is a little stiff or is it the tires. Any way you know how to lower the pressure in the air...
how is the ride quality? I put nitto g2 xl rated 305/55/20 on mine and even though its supposedly a p rated tire i still have a bouncy/bumpy ride. Pressure is set at 38
Yea ride was a little bouncy i thought but got it good at 37psi and i mean it was the hwy tread pattern so it soaked up a lot of small imperfections but i only switched to xl rated and e so it shouldnt be all stiff but still having bouncy ride.
I did a chalk test and front is good at 38psi but the rear i had to go down to 33 psi and well now its too slugish and still bouny just soft bouncy. I mean its always a soft good ride but just feel like its goig up and down too much and not steady.
Ok i switched to XL nitto g2 305/55/20 and man they look awesome on the stock wheels. I have a limited with air suspension but i feel like its a bouncy ride all the time. The pressure after conversion is 38psi but i dunno. I feel it more in the rear and its not balancing cause there is no...
Hey everyone just wanted to get your thoughts on ride quailtu and tire pressure from some of you that have switched tires/wheels already. I found with the oem tires i had 37psi which was 1psi above door sticker. Road absolutely amazing and loved it but then i wanted a little bit bigger tires. I...
