Gotcha, So what you are saying is if you stay under the 8k towing (Which towing more than that on a consistent basis you probably should be 2500 anyway) then there is not much difference correct?
What I don't understand(Seriously I don't) is IF there isn't a difference in 3.21 and 3.92 except just in mountains or quicker acceleration then why does a Ram Crew 4x4 with a 3.92 rear end have a tow rating of 11,340 and the same one with 3.21 is rated at 8,240?
DevilDodge seems to think the fully redesigned Ram 2500 will be revealed mid to late 2021 for 2022 but no details on cab changes or anything else as of now.
Try 5th Gen sister site for HD Rams
but having a 12" computer screen, remote start, keyless entry, blind spot monitoring, sun roofs, lane assist, parallel parking assist, Surroundview camera system, is so mainly! Go figure.
Yea, because other trucks never have issues. I guess you haven't visited a GM or Ford board lately have you?
All truck brands have issues including Toyota period. Yes, you might buy another brand and not have any issues as you could trade in your current truck on another Ram and not have any...
SuperSprings makes products that will increase payload. I have their springs on my current F-150 and they made a world a difference in towing and payload.
I see plenty of these on lots in our area and my question is how important are these items for 4x4 trucks? I always thought a 4x4 without at least anti Spin are not much better than 4x2 with either one of those items.
Maybe the exterior with only the front end changing might be underwhelming for you but the interior updates along with the 8 speed transmission is what I am most excited about. Heck, I still love the look of the 4th gen 2500's and if they had an 8 speed with the 6.4 that is what I'd be driving...
Why not just wait on the 2019 2500 with 6.4 and 8 speed transmission? They are starting to hit the dealerships now and by looking at mpg for the guys with 1500's and 3.92 gears I would expect the 6.4 with 8 speed to be about the same! Also, the new 2500 will have the same interior as the 1500...
Any you guys that have done the 3" lift towed with it? I'm planning on buying a 1500 Ram later this year 4x4 with 3.92 gears and was wondering about towing and if it is affected after adding 34-35" tires and 3" lift?
Thanks in advance.
Somebody on my Facebook feed shared a link to a site that had these Pics on their page but for the life of me I can't find out where it came from again.
