What did you do to your Ram today???

I’m thinking about giving the Michelin Defender LTX Platinums a try next go round. Have a decent looking sidewall but maybe some better road manners. My truck sees zero mud. Just rides around our acreage on occasion.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I feel you. My truck is disgusting as well. One daughter in competition cheer and picking up baseball at the end of the month. Older daughter does travel softball. So between practice, lessons, competitions, tournaments and then all my other adult obligations my truck has fell to the way side. I...

    Transmission fluid change?!

I recommend if you're not comfortable doing it see if there's a reputable transmission shop in your area. I bought the blauparts kit myself but couldn't get the drain plug out and knew I'd have a fight with lifting the transmission. So instead of continuing to fight with it I called a local...

What did you do to your Ram today???

The belt driven portion has a bearing that I believe can/will go bad. I'm not sure what else is in there internally. The portion bolted to the top with the black electrical connection on the right is programmed to your truck. If you were to buy a used/new replacement you'd have to get it flashed...

    Ongoing abnormal treadwear issue?

Not saying you're incorrect - I just wouldn't put much stock in your OEM factory tires. They're often not rated the same as the ones you'd have put on by say discount tire. You can find hundreds of accounts of people replacing their factory tires around 25-30k miles.

What did you do to your Ram today???

Yea, I understand that downside - LEDs are just standard on the majority of vehicles now. Feels like backwards progress. I won't comment one way or another past that because I don't wanna jinx myself lol

What did you do to your Ram today???

Well, depending on what year you bought no matter the trim you were getting the etorque system. It's better to figure out the ways of working on the etorque imo. You can replace the mechanical portion of the etorque motor while retaining your truck's etorque electrical "computer" that mounts on...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Looks good. Can't believe they stuck incandescent bulbs in the tail lights Laramie and Rebel for 2025. Moving the blind spot module is an upgrade (looks like it's in the bumper now?).

    Spark plug change - 2019 Ram 1500 w/ 5.7

I took it as the "inferior" in quotations was referring to how the dealer would view it. They're not inferior but since they're not oem they "are".

Factory equipped tri-fold tonneau cover??? 2025 limited

That's a shame. My factory tri fold has held up well for almost 5 Yrs now. May be because I've got the ramboxes but the only place I get any water intrusion is at the tailgate gap. Usually remedied by just making sure my cargo that needs to be dry is kept closer to the cab.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I had one of these when I worked midnight shift. Worked well. Didn't wanna scrape the windshield after work and my little commuter takes forever to defrost. Easier to just take that thing off and hit the road.

What did you do to your Ram today???

I took it out to play in the snow here in northwest GA. Not a ton but more than we've had in quite some time.

    Ongoing abnormal treadwear issue?

Yea I've noticed the positive camber when my truck is parked and the wheels are turned. I was thinking of getting them to introduce some slight negative camber just to offset the difference.

    Ongoing abnormal treadwear issue?

That's what came across as well when researching this issue. I live on alot of back country roads and have been known to drive....spiritedly.

Nah. ORG plus 1.8" on eibach shocks.

    Ongoing abnormal treadwear issue?

I made a post about this the other day but I'm also dealing with this issue. Took to the dealer and they saw no issue with the alignment. It's the very outer edge. I'd say about 1/2 of the outer tread pattern is measuring 8/32-9/32. All other tread is at 11/32. I'm on General Grabber ATX...

What did you do to your Ram today???

All you guys are making me want to expedite my plans for an "RV barn". Plan is to have a lean to dedicated to housing an RV of some sort. The main portion of the barn will be home gym/man cave with potential for living space. The other lean to will be a dedicated sports area for my kids/grand...

    Brown Sludge on Coolant Dipstick?

I completely flushed my Mazda and went back in with the Peak 10yr. It's been doing great thus far. Probably do that on my truck once I hit 100k. I've not had a single issue with my coolant gelling or running hot since I saw this many miles ago. Thanks for the write up.

Question on alignment and tire wear

Went to Discount Tire yesterday for my normal rotation. They informed me that the insides of all 4 tires are at 11/32nd but the outside of all 4 have worn down to between 8/32nd and 9/32nd. Recommended to have it looked at. Took to the dealer today and they said the alignment looks fine. I...

What did you do to your Ram today???

I wash my truck sparingly because I honestly don't have time and don't want swirls from car washes. I've been having great results with the simple ceramic spray "waxes". Paint stays slick and I usually get the enhanced ease of washing dirt off. I'm sure there are benefits to ceramic coatings but...
