Did you ever get anywhere? I have the same high road noise Laramie with 20" street tires, I drove 2 Rebels, and both were quiet as a tomb vs mine.. Stealer says everything is normal..BS!! OH BTW, mine does have the rubber strip installed, but no change to road noise.

My 0.2 cents worth. I have a 2019 Laramie with the 12" U connect, and have NOTHING good to say about the HVAC system. My dealer says cannot duplicate concerns, yadda yadda, however the A/C side I can say is lackluster at best, the heating side another issue, and on top of that "Auto" is useless...

What did they do, my dealer keeps saying "cannot duplicate", everything works fine, but mine does the exact thing yours did turning on and off randomly.

Mine has 5,000 and same issue... it's a design/manufacturing issue. They had to replace mine.

Well...after 6 weeks in the dealer, I got it back "fixed", yeah right...They said they tested up and down, and finally found my system was "over charged" from the factory by a few "grains", they dialed it in, and supposedly now all in 100% spec. My take? very marginal improvement at best...So...

So far had one box fail, dealer had to order a new one. I know what the problem is, it's a very poor design... The way the top lid is held to the under skeleton structure is by way of a small indexed tab with , this tab is supposed to "click" into a square hollow tab in the under skeleton...

I will toss in some money too, this HVAC system in the new DT is terrible, and in my opinion has some SERIOUS engineering issues. If someone could document what these failures in engineering are, it would open up the doors for a REAL engineering fix from FCA, as they could not run from it...

My truck has been at the dealership under the eye of FCA for 3 weeks now. They are reflashing and recharging the system, but honestly I feel they are trying to brush this under the rug, and not addressing the major engineering snafu they have on their hands. I am thinking a class action suit...
