I will run/save the log as soon as I get some time and send it off to Alfa...................I guess we'll see. At least you guys helped enough to ensure me that I'm not totally stupid at this.
I included that message because that was too many words for me................I have no idea what a MS-CAN BLUE adapter is or how to use it. This is a 2024 that I just bought a month ago, maybe that's part of the issue?
Yes, I can connect to the BCM and make changes. I'm trying to adjust the comfort setting temp set points, mainly so it works outside of the 40 and 80 thresholds.
Well, maybe you guys can help someone out who DOESN'T know much about either. I posted this on the comfort settings post, but haven't received any help. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong trying to change my comfort settings temps?
I can't seem to get this process down, obviously I'm...
I can't seem to get this process down either. I'm using the black, with red plug ends, bypass cable. I have that in place, with the MC+ into it and connected to Alfa, but it won't connect to the "comfort seat module". It shows me a message when I try to connect to the seat module, it's the...
I'm going to ask a NEWB question, so please be easy. Also, I DID spend over an hour looking for this information...............so again, please be easy.
I have a 2024 1500 Laramie and am trying to get Alfa hooked up. I have the bypass cable with the two smaller plugs and the OBD. I know where...
Funny you mention that specifically. I've tried that and noticed that when I try that, all my icons go "blank". You know what I mean, when your on Sirius the icon is darker showing it's been selected. When I switch to FM, both the SAT and FM icons stay lights and it won't let me select any icon...
Thanks for the replies. I always have my phone volume all the way up, so that appears like it's not it. I've restarted, stopped/started the truck over again........all that BS. I truly hate how you get REALLY used to using AA, then the rug gets pulled from under you. At least they could have...
Hopefully there are some people out there that use AA as much as I do and have run into this problem before. 8.4 w/o Nav and a Google Pixel 5 using the original Google charging cable. I've been using solid for a year and run into this problem a couple of times. I never use my phone for music, I...
@Bighorned, since you have the Alpine system, the speakers are different than the base system. There is too much info floating around and it's very confusing to find the right speaker for the right system (stock, Alpine and H&K) because they ALL use different components.
That's a great write up, thank you. I've been so busy at work (Pool Construction) that I haven't even thought about doing the swap yet. But I will this "off season" for sure. I'm still debating the bass blockers, but I'll have to dig back into everyone's opinions before I order everything up.
It appears this is becoming more common than just mine. Although under warranty, it's still a PITA to carve out the time needed to take to the dealer. Mine broke in a different place too.
I'd be perfectly happy to "manage" a thread about adding anything to the base 6 speaker system. What I mean by that, is that I'll try and keep the info from other systems out of the thread. If we can manage to do that, it shouldn't get as mangled and confusing as the BIG thread we all ran from!
Thank you gents, I was hoping you were working on these over the weekend. I'll be ordering the FaitalPro 3FE22 (in 8ohm), which adapter is the correct one?
Gotta love it when a plan comes together! Can you guys keep "us" updated? I think I'm convinced to try as well, but I'm willing to wait for your results first........
I really like not having to dig through pages and pages to find info............already. If the REF speakers are 3 ohm, with the stocks being 8 ohm, what does that really do to the performance (thus sound quality) of the system? Obviously there are plenty of people who have them in already, but...
