I'm dealing with this exact same problem. truck is like 2 months old. been trying to figure out what triggers it but it seems what you're describing is exactly it. I shut the truck off and walk away and as I'm walking by i hear it pop open. Also only the drivers side. passenger is fine.

I'm not sur I love the idea of tapping the wire directly though. You're running to a light that's outside and could be damaged by water or hitting something etc and short out. It probably wouldn't be an issue, but do you have a fuse in line with the tapping of this wire? Is there a fuse in...

Tyler204, can you confirm whether or not you were able to run these 1.5" spacers WITHOUT needing to cut down the factory studs? That is, does the Limited wheel have any pockets between the holes?
