I was thinking about getting the OEM wireless charging unit as well, but then realized that my S20 is to tall in the current phone holder in my 2019 Rebel (fits, but hits the bottom edge of the trailer brake control), So I imagine if I got the OEM charging station and spent all that time and...
BUS-50936-02 (unless its changed since I ordered mine in November last year) .. I ordered them from realtrucks... in the screen shot I posted above this reply, it has the part#
I haven't seen any on mine, but imho, they are doing what they were designed to do. I personally wouldn't put to much into it (if you're leveled). that's why they are there from my understanding.
i had a small gap on mine on the back side of the flare and the bottom, think it has more to do with the way its held in place using the existing holes.. I loosened and retorqued the bottom and lower inside screws while somebody else held it firmly and snug in place.. still has a slight gap, but...
ahh, i took a picture of mine, to kind of compare.. its more of a close up i guess (think this is the area you're referring to).. hope this helps. cant really get a good shot of the red one from the same angle
not sure what you mean, when you're essentially saying BW flares don't align with the fender contours that good.. I think they align up perfectly, cant really align any better then they already are imho.
I have yet to be flashed by anybody.. I would double check that your truck is on "level" ground.. and depending on the road, if your on a perfectly flat road, and your beams are blinding people, then something went wrong with your setup (you're not actually level).. but you will naturally blind...
here are a couple pictures I took here at work, looking straight down the fender flare, to the tire so you can see how the tire sits compared to the fender flare.
After leveling my truck, tried looking for some info on adjusting the headlights after putting a 2" level kit in.. couldn't find anything specific.. so I decided to go ahead, and get the measurements.. little dot on the headlight is:
42.5" from the ground
low beams were hitting at about 45"...
I actually like the way they fill it in, kinda aligns them up with the lower part of the fender pretty good, to prevent them evil rocks from slapping into the side of the truck. going from the stock +35 offset to a -18 offset, moves the tire sidewall out an additional 2.49" from the stock...
offset I am running is -18
install was pretty easy. worst part was pulling the OEM fender flares off.. but wasn't that bad once i got the hang of what needed to be done.
