    Some Real World MPG Numbers

It has been a while, but I have tracked all the miles since purchase. I just hit my 1 year anniversary with 18,000 miles. I will update the spreadsheet when I get a chance. Some quick comments though, I have noticed the mpg increase with more miles driven. After installing a tonnou cover my...

    Don’t see Laramie’s w/Level 2 package and ORP - Do they exist?

I ended up having to custom order mine to get exactly what I wanted. I searched for 4 months through every zip code and website(not joking). I'm glad I did order what I wanted, that way I'm not saying "wish it had this or didn't have that". I always heard that they will screw you over if you...

    Truck Died at 55mph (E-torque/electrical issues, 2020)

The dealer and Chrysler walked through troubleshooting on the truck and were unable to find the problem. One of the codes in question was p0a78. They decided not to swap Generator/E-Torque, I picked it up today after they rebooted the system and cleared codes. Hopefully, this fixes the issues...

New 2019 Rebel 5.7 with Etorqu Battery Charging Problem

This. Of all things I worry about any shop doing work on my vehicle. Just knowing that the people who work on them will never do as good a job as the day it left the factory. Chances are they will cut corners because people are lazy and flat out don't care.

    Truck Died at 55mph (E-torque/electrical issues, 2020)

Storytime: As the title states, 7/22/20 I was driving and at 55mph the horn honked followed by various error messages. I looked down and realized the engine died. The radio was still working and I could see the gauge cluster continually flashing errors, but the truck said it needed to be put...

What do you use your Ram Powerhouse of a truck for? (Hauling, towing, personal, work, or more!) post pics too

I've had various bed lengths for work trucks and 5.5 never felt like enough room. Add one of these into a short bed and it will be a completely different story with bikes fitting. https://tonneaucoversworld.com/p/truck-covers-usa-american-work-cover-jr/

    Some Real World MPG Numbers

Since I bought my truck back in March 2020 I have been tracking the real-world MPG. I know this has been talked about before but I wanted to throw out my 2 cents Fwiw, Some comments below: When I bought the truck I was hoping to average 18 mpg. Currently Averaging 15.90 mpg after 5750 miles, I...

    Hard-wire Dash Cam Install

First off great writeup and a lot of useful information on this thread. I was able to get my Viofo A129 hardwired pretty easy. My only question is regarding the rear camera, how did everyone run the cable from front to rear? I ran mine along the headliner but the cable is pretty thick and opens...

    Air suspension not level !!!

To answer some of the questions, I've almost exclusively driven with a passenger. I only weigh 175lbs so I would hope that wouldn't cause it to be off. The truck has 1500 mile on it. ~300 miles of it hauled around 600 pounds worth of cargo. ~200 miles of the total was pulling a 6000lb trailer...

    Air suspension not level !!!

I was literally measuring my truck yesterday because after staring at it parked for so long I've noticed my passenger side is also about a 1/2" higher than the driver side. I'm curious what the dealer will say. Please keep us updated. I have the air suspension and off road group.

First ram.. already questioning my decision..

That is very interesting in my experience with systems in the past sometimes random static and voltages can cause issues. My truck is bone stock with no mods or add ons. Quite an interesting point. Thanks for the feedback. Thanks for your feedback. It's true that all modern vehicles have...
