I did a quick search through the forums and wasn’t able to find anyone else who asked about this so now I’m really curious...
I was hosing out my bed the other day and noticed there is no grommet around where the wiring harness goes into the tailgate, it’s just a big hole with the wiring...
I don’t think it’s from a wash, they are way too deep. It almost looks like someone took a flat screw driver and used the corner of it to scratch the glass. I have no idea how it could happen other than that. It’s only in about a 2 or 3 sq inch area in the upper corner. I’ve had washed it twice...
Fingernail does catch! When I took it back to the dealer 2 days after I took it home, they didn’t even mention trying to have that glass fixed. They just said it would need replaced.

I know it’s impossible to tell for sure by just a picture but here’s the picture I sent my sales rep the night I picked it up

I appreciate you reaching out in regards to this! I've been working directly with my sales rep (who has been great thus far) on this and he told me yesterday he is going to find out if they can get the Mopar glass and he would get back to me. I haven't heard anything yet, but I figured it might...

Or these...
I've experienced this a few times already in the month and a half I've had my truck! Scared the crap out of me with the abrupt stop! It seems to happen mostly when I switch from drive to reverse when I'm backing into my driveway. It also did it once in the middle of backing down my driveway...
I figured that was the case! Thanks!!
Now I’m off to argue with these idiots that I’m not taking an aftermarket windshield on a brand new truck!

My truck came from the factory with some scratches/gouges in the upper driver side corner of the windshield.
The dealer is going to take care of it and said they’ll replace the windshield , but they are trying to tell me they don’t ship the factory glass (w/ ram logo) outside of the factory...
I wish I had the answer to that question! I was kind of shocked and slightly disappointed when I pulled up the eq the first time and only saw the 3!!

I've been out of the car audio game professionally for about 12 years now, so I'm going off of my knowledge from then, not sure how much factory amplified systems have changed since then. With that being said, we would never connect an aftermarket sub to a factory amplifier for multiple reasons...
