Of course, I would make sure they fit prior to completing the sale. I can’t see them updating running board mounts mid-gen like that. Ill keep the thread updated if thats the case
Had a guy with 2022 or 23 interested in purchasing my 2020 oem crew cab running boards. He says when he checked the part number online it says that they will not fit the newer models. Has anyone run into this issue or did the part numbers change? These are the take offs from my truck, Thanks
Gotta love StreetSpeed717, he has a great channel (even if he destroyed a TRX). He jumped his Raptor too but he got much more air with the TRX and has already stated that he loves the truck and will purchase another one. Congrats @21TRX on a gorgeous truck and enjoy!
I still have yet to install the 6112’s. I still have the 5100’s and tbh they have not disappointed in the least and I haven't had the urge to have the front torn apart again but thats not to say it’s not coming ;). I have the 5160’s in the rear and had them installed at the same time I did the...
It’s been a while since I posted in the BTS thread so I figured I would post an update. I posted several months ago about how I switched out the stock Falkens for GY Duratracs and have since had one go bad. Slight dry rot on the sidewall was causing a leak. I noticed from day 1 from when the new...
Congrats on your purchase, be sure to introduce yourself and post pictures in the BTS thread(or the purchase never happened;))The tire should fit on the factory wheel if im not mistaken but without a spacer, the 12.5 width will rub on the UCA. There is a member in the bts thread running a...
So far I’m very happy with the Duratracs, they look great and havent let me down off road. I think Im just going to add the 6112’s for now and maybe a decent pair of UCA’s and be done. Maybe I’ll upgrade to King shocks in the future but so far the 5100/5160 combo drives great and Im sure the...
Yea those of us that scored early BTS trucks really made out good it seems. I have a few friends in the market and they cant seem to find anything decent available. I have zero regrets and I’m thankful i pulled the trigger when I did
Yea finally installed, ill take a picture as soon as possible. If you look back I posted several after having the 5100s&5160s installed with new stock springs. The ORP springs gave me similar lift without any settling(so far).
No problem, you will be happy with the way it turns out. I use my truck for pretty much the same purpose, medium off roading, towing, and moving stuff. I found this way the best way to gain a tiny bit of lift that will useful with an improved ride and not be too much or look like a mall crawler...
I have the 5100’s on setting 4 on the front and 5160s on the rear with ORP springs and 275/65R20 Duratracs. I gained probably a bit over 3” in the front going to this setup. My BTS didnt come with ORP springs so i had the bilstein on stock springs for a few weeks and with the tires i still had a...
I added bilstein 5100’s(#4) and 5160’s and upgraded the tires to Duratrac 275/65R20’s and my ride has actually improved significantly. The tires do have a tiny bit of road noise but nothing terrible. Most leveling kits that use a spacer are never going to ride as good as stock IMO
Im most likely going to get with #7. I assume that the 6112’s will settle a bit once mileage gets put on them. Im still trying to figure out what parts i need to build them into coilovers, if anyone knows feel free to chime in
No tool needed, just move one side up to the next ring and then go around the whole circlip until its resting on the next spot. Its pretty easy to play with but i guess a flat head would help
