    Loudness problem

I agree! This Alpine system is the best sounding factory system I've had in a vehicle. I have always modified all my vehicles systems at least with subs and amps and plan on doing the same with my Ram but keeping the factory 10" as well.

295 or 285 tires for 20inch Ram rim - Discussion

I had a dealer recalibrate my speedo this past summer. I know I lost MPGs on the Highway I’d say at least 2-3 per but I hardly ever get on the Highway except for the minute it takes me to get to the next exit daily going to and from work.

295 or 285 tires for 20inch Ram rim - Discussion

I know a lot of guys say you’ll have issues going to bigger tires in general and only having 3.21 gears. I haven’t noticed any issues on performance or acceleration but maybe the extra 130 foot pounds from the etorque help offset that? My truck definitely doesn’t ride as nice as when stock but...

295 or 285 tires for 20inch Ram rim - Discussion

Good call on heating that section up and bending it out of the way. Hopefully they stay put. They are pretty flimsy overall but it’s hard to say if that’s by design to hold up to the elements or just not a high quality product?

295 or 285 tires for 20inch Ram rim - Discussion

It would only rub under full lock either direction but it was pretty loud and embarrassing trying to squeeze this beast into a parking spot. I cut off about 3” or basically that entire stone/water catch basin on the back of the flap. Not sure what the purpose was for that. I’m surprised you had...

    Loudness problem

Sorry to hear that. Very disappointing considering FCA is known for putting decent stereo systems in their vehicles for years. Between my wife, daughters and I, we’ve owned or leased over 25 FCA vehicles in the the last 30 years and most of them I’ve been able to keep the factory head unit and...

    Loudness problem

Guys, Based on the volume issues you’re having, I’d say you need to take it in and have the system flashed. My 2017 Big Horn had the 6 speaker system and I could crank it to max volume at 37 and it was pretty loud for a base system. I see no reason why the 5THGEN base system would be any...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

I think the wording on this listing is the issue. They should’ve said the kit comes with the revised front shocks not spacers. This looks like the same kit I got and the spacers go on the rear coils as that is what lifts the back end, not the shocks.

    35’s on stock Laramie 20’s

Well after almost a month with my lift and 34” tires, I’m surprisingly still getting a little over 14 MPGs around town which is most of what my driving consist of and about what I was getting before any mods. I’m running 40 PSI.

295 or 285 tires for 20inch Ram rim - Discussion

Go back one post #46 and I have a pic of my truck with 295/60R20s. Only thing I would have done different is go with 35s instead of 34s but I still like it.

295 or 285 tires for 20inch Ram rim - Discussion

I don’t have any close up pics of the wheel wells with the new setup but if you expand this pic you can see the difference now. The rear is still just under 2” higher but I’m ok with that. I’m only running 34/11.5s and the only rubbing issues I have are on the back of my mud flaps. I need to...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

Since I’ve only had my kit installed for a few weeks, I can only comment on your first sentence. The updated kit uses longer shocks so you don’t need the additional spacer. The height gain should be the same with both versions. Guys who don’t already have the ORP springs are buying them to gain...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

I’ve never heard of an AC version. I would have to assume something would be different for them to change the part number.

My friend did get a good deal at $450 because they just hit 5000 miles when I had them taken off.

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

I had my new tires installed the day after the lift was done so here is a pic of my truck with the lift and my stock 275/55R20 Falken Wildpeak AT3Wa tires. When I measured these they were about 31”. I’ve only had my lift and 34” tires on for a week so I do not yet know how much my MPGs will...

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

If you buy the kit from CNYMOPAR, you’ll get the newest version. Regardless of where you but it, as long as the part number is 77072424AB, you’ll get the latest version.

Forgot to mention, rake or no rake, your truck looks great!

    Updated 2" Mopar Lift/Level Kit - Discussion

My truck before any mods with factory ORP springs sat almost 2.5” higher in the rear. After the Mopar lift and taller tires, it still sits just under 2” higher in the rear. One option if you want to try and level is to remove the rear spacers but it might sit slightly lower in the rear which is...
