I’m about to do a transmission fluid/filter change on my 2019 1500 and was wondering how many quarts I would need. Most videos I’ve seen use 5-6 quarts. I’m planning on using the Dorman 265-850 pan/filter and Amsoil OE fuel efficient synthetic. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly the problem stopped randomly and hasn’t been making the noise ever since. I have no idea what caused it to stop.

So theoretically turning off the TCS should stop this from happening assuming that’s the issue? I’m going to try it tomorrow morning and see if that does anything.

I have the same issue. The most asinine thing about this is not the problem itself, but the fact that a company who has been building trucks for decades doesn’t know how to fix it. Unacceptable.
