How does the AWE kit compare to Carven's catback?
I've had the Carven Competitor series on my 2019, but it was just the muffler with stock resonators.
Was about to order the full catback, but now after reading all of this AWE praise I'm conflicted...
halpppp
Oh I see your RC UCA now, pic wasn't loading before. I'm leaning towards the Zone kit for now but may still use bilstein for the preload portion since I'll be taking the strut apart anyway.
I assume the problem was with the stock UCA?
Thanks for the info, looks like everyone on this thread has saved me a lot of headache which is why this forum rocks. I like the idea of a small top hat such as 1/2" motofab to help some of the lift not be all preload. A mixture of preload/top hat...
Ok fine I cave, Bilstein it is with zone UCA's. I have a set of new 5160's for the rear laying in my garage that were supposed to go on my previous truck so I suppose it's 6112 time again...or 8112 if I want to sleep outside for the next year or so.
I have no need for them but damn they look good.
So you only extended your strut by 0.5" though technically if I understand correctly. I'm familiar with the Bilstein route, I ran 6112s on my previous ram on setting 6 (non-ORG).
I would like to just do the ready lift route with UCA's and call it a day personally to keep the factory ride. The...
I see a bunch of rebels running the 2" ready lift, isn't my truck the same? Although it states its not for use on those either. Wondering if they're all operating on borrowed time or if it's essentially not that big of a deal. I've ran bilstein before and was not impressed. If I could find a 1"...
I agree, however ready lift says no go. I see rebels running the 2" kit and I'm pretty sure their suspension and the ORG trucks are essentially the same. If the struts are longer then ok I can see a problem, but I was under the impression that strut length is the same between a "regular" 1500 vs...
Yes, I know about the search function. most have air or different configurations and im not finding solid answers.
2022 ram 1500 Laramie 4x4 CC 6.4 bed with the ORP non-air.
Just spoke with ready lift and they said nope don't do it regarding their 2" level with control arms. My truck is...
I am referring more to the rebel bumper itself with the grill/trim pieces included. I've yet to see anyone run the bumper.
Then I hear the TRX bumper is the same as the rebel minus removable flares?
I can't find any rebel bumpers around but I have a bunch of TRX ones nearby for cheap.
thinking about just going for it. From my understanding if I order the trim pieces under the headlights, rebel grill and rebel bumper I should be able to make it work? Wondering if the grill has the same attachment points as my laramie?
Also if anyone wants to photoshop a rebel front end on a...
Tried searching, but everything I've found on here are threads on going 8.4" to 12".
Bought a new 2022 Laramie with the 12" nav. Absolutely hate it. glitches, freezes, phone drops connection, etc.
Only 1000 miles on the truck and im almost ready to drive it through the dealership window at this...
Dilemma: Currently have a Superlift 6" on my 2020 DT bighorn non-air, non-ORP. I have the Billstein 6112s set to 3 (left out spacer that came with kit) and the cheap shocks the kit comes with in the rear with the spacer set to lowest setting (3.5" I believe).
Along with that the kit specifies...
Anyone have any positive/negative feedback on superlift? I feel like it is rarely mentioned in the running with the other brands?
On par with most 6" kits?
I like that they have an adjustable coil spacer for the rear rather than a coil for lift so I can level the truck out.
$1,500 is much...
I have it on #7 and got exactly 2” out of it on my Non-ORP/non-air bighorn. I do however have a pretty hefty front bumper on the truck which brings down the front end a touch. Had to remove splash guards and still have a slight rub at full lock on inner wheel well liner that can be remedied...
