Early 2018 build that never leaked, but between that concern and the Uconnect 4 being the redhead stepchild, I grew concerned and decided it was the right time to sell. Overall nothing failed, ever, unless you count the multiple times I inspected everything assuming failure was around the...
Sounds like no “I’ll intent”, but also claimed ignorance which isn’t a defense. Sorry dumbass, claiming to care, but ignorance isn’t a good defense. For those of us that responsibly off road, crap like this ruins it for us.
Had my daughter drive the Ram again, this time on the interstate. My wife has been all about delicate side streets in the Subaru. Screw that, I made her deal with major construction zones in the Ram. She did just fine. My kids have more hours driving the Ram than my wife does. I let my 12 yr...
I watch a fair amount of different YouTube channels but this one was hard to watch. I cringe when I see old Jaguars, Land Rovers, and even classic trucks destroyed in a movie or tv show.
More power to this guy, and I wish I had the smarts to generate the revenue he gains, but I would never...
I was at the dealership yesterday and a brand new Ram on the showroom floor has a slack cable on the left side. Pathetic quality control on FCA’s part.
Sounds identical to a fuel pump failure I had that would come back to life after sitting for a while. That was a Range Rover, but the vehicle manufacturer doesn’t matter, faulty parts happen.
I suspect us older generation don’t need it, and the younger generation like it.
I still remember a sticky floor switch that I used back in the day. Plus those old high beams sucked compared to today’s lights.
I didn’t have a choice when my Ram was in Hawaii, no satellite coverage. Having been a Sirius/XM fan for decades I was fine with out it. Now I simply stream SiriusXM from my phone via Bluetooth. But nothing in the guardian package justifies the cost, period.
Side note; why do people pay for...
Easy enough, don’t buy it if you don’t see the value. Somehow we survived for decades without technology holding our hand. I don’t have it as mine is a 2019, but my experience with it in a Land Rover Defender was pretty nice.
Like a VMS, I wish there was a sort of industry standard to add a...
Cooper Zeon LTZ is all I will use on my Land Rover. They perform well in dry, wet, snow, and off road. Think I’m averaging about 50K out of them, and this is my second set. Even near the end they perform well, even in our occasional blizzard.
Agree, the brakes are fine, tires are the issue. Not just speed rating but condition of the tires. If you want to loose your license in America, do it safely in a foreign based vehicle, even similar weight such as a Land Rover. They will happily cruise at 125+ and feel safe doing so. No...
I’ve had MyQ since it’s inception, two different openers, one old and one brand new. The new Chamberlain has the built in LED’s which are awesome, and my garage has recessed LED lighting, 24 of them actually. Neither interfere with Homelink in any of my vehicles. I’m heavy into home automation...
