Thanks. That is the idea but how long do I have to go to notice an abnormal wear pattern? I figured this would be a fairly common issue. Is 35 psi too low to try? I guess my fear is going to low and losing a tire on the freeway.
I have Cooper STT Pro 35x12.50x22’s on my factory wheels on my 1500 longhorn crew cab. My truck never hauls more than me, the wife, and two kids and maybe a couple hundred pounds of misc junk. I have a 3/4 ton diesel for real truck things.
The tires say 65 psi max on them for a load rating of...
I just changed my oil. I used Mobil 1 and a Royal purple filter. The change was not difficult but it is messy. I own a lift and change enough oil on things that I go through 1-1.5 55 gallon drums of oil a year. This truck has one of the worst designed oil filter and drain plug locations I have...
I bet it is when you go into 4cyl eco mode. You can set it in the options to show “eco” by your speedometer when this happens. Mine makes the same sound when eco engages. The only way to turn off eco is to manually select gears.
For me it is the large screen in the dash. That thing is huge and no one other than Tesla has anything like it. The interior as a whole is amazing but everyone who has seen the truck can’t stop talking about the screen
We have a 19, an 18, & two 17s At our house. The oil changes in all of them are easy and resetting the computer takes less than a minute and is detailed in each owners manual.
I have a lift, a bulk oil dispenser, and a used oil tank that gets pumped out when full. If I didn’t have this I would...
Do dealers really charge this much for nitrogen? We use nitrogen at work at and it is cheap. To get a huge bottle of it refilled cost around 25 bucks. I have no idea how many tires one bottle would fill but I bet a lot.
I have 35x12.50 mud terrains on my truck. I put them on at 500 miles and have 1000 now so this isn’t a huge amount of data but it seem I lost about 3 mpg. I like the tires and they changed the trucks appearance like night and day and I would do them again but they did change the ride. Most...
You can tap and hold on the surround view cam and drag it to the bottom which is your favorites. From there it is just an easy one click to get the cam. I use mine all the time going forward.
Funny we have the same combo. My wife has an Audi SUV also.
I made the same decision last week. It boils down to if you really need a diesel or not. You can get a 1500 with a lot more creature comforts for the same money as a stripped down diesel. If you routinely tow over 10k get the diesel if not I vote 1500.
Hey guys I found this today on you tube. This guy is running 35x12.50’s with no lift on stock 22” wheels. He does have the air ride though.
I think I will go with the 35’s they should be no problem with the 3.5” lift.
Thanks.
The ready lift people say "Max tire: 35x12.50 20x9 +0"
I have no idea what offset the factory 22" wheels are. Will a 35x12.50x22 fit without rubbing? What is the next size down? I know there are online calculators to convert the metric tire sizes to actual dimensions but I am not sure...
I am not familiar with Moritz. I am in Lubbock and had a drive just to get to Meador. I couldn't be happier with my deal I saved so much over any of the local dealers. What I thought was great was my salesman Chad truly seemed like he was on my side. He told me he gets paid on the number of...
