False forward collision warning in heavy rain
rainy or snowy weather will affect the operation of the system. Make sure not to confuse the Forward Collision Warning system with the Cross Path or Park assist functions. Forward Collision Warning
My money is that they checked your forward park assist, NOT your FCW. That is what happened at me dealer. They said it works fine... he went to show me and I had to point out that he was activating the FPA and NOT the FCW. He has no clue why it doesn’t work but did indeed confirm it is not...- Danek
