I was just curious about swapping gears and yes i know both would have to be done. I think I’m gonna find a lighter trailer maybe around 6000 lbs or see what kind of 3/4 ton truck i can trade into. Thanks for all the info guys.
so what weight range of the triler would you stay with.my Harley is around 900 pounds plus I don't plan on hauling with the tanks full.i only need this to work for 2 years and I can trade my lease in and get a 2500.i know how to haul steep grades and use my engine and trans to do the work...
my truck is a 2019 ram 1500 crew cab 5.7 4wd w/3.21 gears.the trailer i'm looking at is a keystone octane 324cg with a dry weight around 8k lbs. I don't understand the difference between my towing capacity and lets say the same truck with 3.92 gears that have like a 11k lb capacity.if I changed...
if the trailer is 7500 plus the Harley is almost 1000 plus accessories etc in the trailer i'd be well over the 8150.changing gearing isn't an option either.
has anyone noticed a noise when shutting the cab doors? it is coming from the front of the bed closest to the cab.i can hit the inside front of the bed panel and make it happen.i don't see anything broken loose.just curious if it's normal and i'm just now noticing it.i've had it 4 months so...
welcome. good lucking truck but i'm biased because I have one just like it.i did however swap the tires around so the white letters are in,never understood why they had an all black truck then stick white letter tires on it.smh
I can understand the frustration but things break or go bad.I know it's an inconvenience but stuff happens.i however do believe that your dealership could have been more helpful.
hi everyone.I will be picking my new 2019 ram 1500 bighorn up in a couple days but just want to say hi.i bought the black one with the black out package.
