I hear you about the wife. Mine's a nurse so she's seen the results of some horrific street bike accidents. She actually loves to ride pillion but won't do it anymore. I sold my street bike after she stopped riding with me and now I just enjoy my dirt bike.
I'm about the same as you. I assumed I would get better MPG on the highway, but speeds above 70 bring my mileage down. Commuting and around town are at 55 mph or less for me and I see the ECO light quite often. I very rarely see the ECO light when on the turnpike at speeds above 70.
My wife has a Prius as she has a long commute to work. It's our second one and she loves it. I can't stand riding/driving it, as it's noisy and uncomfortable. It is, however, dead reliable and cheap to own. 126K miles and I have only done (myself) oil changes and tires. Cheap to own for...

Thanks to whomever started this thread!
I did my first oil change at 1,900 miles today.
I've been changing my own oil in my vehicles for 30+ years, and I must say, this RAM is a b*tch!
I used to just lie on my back under my Sierra and get it done. I figured with this RAM on 20's, I would have even more clearance, but that was not...

As a surprise, my wife had them install running boards as well!
UPDATE: I went to dealer this afternoon. I am indeed missing the whole panel where the foot well light would be mounted to, and the wire is the power supply to said light.
I asked the service personnel how they possible could have missed this when prepping the truck for delivery. They had no...
Can anyone confirm for me that a Big Horn has a fabric panel above the passenger foot well/below the glove box, and that that panel has a foot well light?
I have a foot well light on the driver's side, but not on the passenger side. I just have a wire hanging down. I'm going into the dealer...
