Even though it doesn't show on the report I use Carfax maintenance thing to record everything I do. I don't know if you could upload receipts to Ram's website but you can to carfax.
It's nice because if you do go into a dealer for anything and they report to carfax, you'll see those services...
My 24 3500 does this as well.
I've gotten over it. I'm just happy all 6 sensors sync up like they're supposed to whenever I get moving.
If there is a fix I don't know of one. I tried relearn, reset, and saving everything a few times to no avail.
Clear profile and do a complete factory reset to the radio.
Once reset is done plug in USB and try again. That worked for me and after maps were fixed then I was able to set my stuff back up.
That's the wrong setting.
I can't get to my truck right now but I think it's mirror reverse light or something in car configuration change from inside the BCM.
Also, for 2021, you can't get mirror running lights in the tow mirrors. BCM can't do it from what I recall in my testing on my 2021...
I had this exact issue on my 1500. To cure it I had to do a complete profile delete and radio reset.
Once I did that I was able to update the maps.
I caused this issue from not letting the truck run with the engine on. Found out the hard way the truck shuts off after 30 minutes if the...
Going from memory here but the instructions call for a drive formatted to FAT32 in order to work.
No matter what I did with my 64GB drive I couldn't get it to work. I finally broke down and bought a 32 GB drive. Formatted for FAT32, downloaded the update files, and I have updated 2 trucks right...
If you don't need it don't get it.
2500 will never ride like a 1500 and I feel like those who don't really need the 2500 don't realize that. Ignore all the talk that 2500s ride great. They do compared to older 2500s but not current 1500s.
More over if you get the diesel it needs to be worked...
This.
I had a 23 1500 and I held onto a 36 ft enclosed trailer. Empty weight is 5500. Generally pulling it empty wasn't to bad. Throw in some high winds through Arizona or any weight inside and the 1500 really was working to keep me moving. Didn't feel comfortable at all.
Went back to a 3500...
A few things.
1. The surge I've found is normal, unfortunately. I don't know if it's from the ETorque or programming. The truck won't engage the transmission until you've let off the brake. Only time I've noticed it'll auto engage the transmission is on a cold start. After that any warm start...
13-18 Ram 2500/3500. Wheels with 8 lugs means it's heavy duty. Those tail lights started production in 2013 for Laramie and above trims and ended in 2018.
I bought the Course Motorsports mounts. One for the passenger side that is mage safe compatible. The other for the driver side that is mag safe compatible and wireless charging. So far so good.
I did not. Price is slowing me down. I did this swap on my 21 and it worked fine so I am confident it'll work on my 23. I have been hunting on ebay for a good deal on one or both.
Life has slowed me down so this is on the back burner for me.
I looked at a Denali in 23 that stickered for 77k with the Duramax. They weren't willing to come off the price. Looked at my Ram limited with a sticker of 82k but they negotiated down to 71k.
This was in May of 23. I don't know if the result would be similar today.
Personally I liked the...
I'm sure you're talking more about the diesel applications or even the old 4.0's that were inline 6's but weren't turbo charged.
For this particular application I think the jury is still out. I do think they are gambling a bit but then again they have pretty much told us it's not going to last...
Currently driving a 24 Wagoneer L with the S/O. Certainly does feel more powerful than the Hemi. Fuel mileage over this 500 mile or so trip is comparable to my 23 Ram with the 5.7.
I'll be interested in the longevity. This engine does run cooler than my Hemi.
