I've got a 6" Fabtech lift. These pics are all old though and I'm running 37's on it now. Check me out on IG @rebelram19 and you can see everything else that I've done since then. Today I installed the Vice Design winch mount and my new 13k lb winch.
There's a few of us here who have 6" lifts installed on our Rebels. I encountered a few differences between the instruction sheet Fabtech sent and my actual truck but nothing major. Lift went on just fine with no problems and I've had it on for about 4k miles now. The alignment was done right...
And folks are having their trucks get stuck on WOT without any mods on them as well. It is not necessarily a tuning item that is causing issues with people's trucks. These things are mass produced and you are bound to have some issues with them here and there.
Its been a fun build so far. Going to be tearing into electrical side of it in a few weeks for a new remote start/alarm, LED lightbar on the front, RGBW rock lights, bed lights, and a few more things.
Thank you! Its been fun ripping into this thing thus far. I'll be home from Iraq, where I've been for the majority of the past year and a half, and I will be pulling it apart again to install some new LED goodies.
I have the Fabtech 6" lift on my Rebel. There are some minor differences in the install but nothing that would cause you to buy extra parts or give too much trouble to finish the install. I did it myself in my garage with mostly basic tools, my pneumatic impact, electric drill, a Sawzall and an...
Welcome! There's a lot of good info here for tech installs all the way down to basic routine maintenance. Be sure to check out the search bar at the top and share some pictures of your truck as well!
Just to verify, you were told to run your Ridge Grapplers, on your '19 Ram, at 45 PSI? Just asking because I also have 35s and wanted to verify. I think mine are right about 45 at the moment but that was what the tire shop that mounted/balanced them put them at. 35x12.50 mounted on 20x10.
My guess is they will either try and give you a credit amount to use towards service/optional equipment or they will offer to install the proper LSD/Gears that you paid for. I'm interested to hear what route they go. Keep us updated as I'd like to know the outcome here.
Nothing other than your own experience will relax your mind on this, but from my experience, I love my Pulsar. I have a 6" lift and am on 35s currently. Without my Pulsar I was seeing about 12-14 mpg on a good day. With the Pulsar in Eco Mode/MDS off, I get about 18-20 under good conditions...
Looks really good! I'm about to change out the hubs on my 99 Ram for a 6 lug setup and install the wheels/tires from my Rebel. Need to do the wheel bearings and new brakes all the way around so figured I'd change everything out at since I'm in there.
Which manufacturer and where did you get them from? Very interested to see some pics and hear about the install. They were a bit of a hassle on my 4th gen so I don't know if I want to bother with them on my 5th gen.
There is no way to adjust the suspension. Not without changing out some components for shorter/taller spacers. You might be able to achieve a slight change of stance with some new upper control arms but then you run the risk of not having the alignment done properly. Mine also looked like it had...
