I'm coming from a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I had plans to get another one (my 4th one FYI) since it was a really great vehicle. When I went in to look at the new GC's it was pretty much the exact same car except for some trim and tech upgrades. I felt like it wasn't a big enough change and the...
I kinda thought the same thing as well. I have run 89 octane in it since I picked it up so I don't think that's the issue. Regarding the rear end, I don't know if there is recall data available to know if mine needs to be fixed. I currently get nowhere near 17 in city driving, I barely get that...
I can't confirm what the mileage difference is, but my 3:92 Limited is awful on gas. I have the 33 gallon tank and it goes thru that in a heartbeat. I drive pretty reserved and have 2,000 miles on it currently. City is 12 MPG average and highway is maybe 15 MPG if there's no hills to climb and I...
I just ordered an Undercover Armor Flex for mine. It appears to be pretty much like the MX4 but with the tougher exterior panel finish. I paid $845.00 OTD, plus there is a rebate for $100.00 running currently. I'll report back once I receive it and get it installed.
Just a FYI, if you deploy these in a car wash make sure they don't hit the rails as it goes thru the wash. I attempted this and mine got some scratches from hitting the tire guide rails.
I don't have the eTorque FYI. Just the normal 5.7. I have also read that the 3:92 gears would be better for larger tires. This certainly makes sense but I don't have real world data to back that claim up.
OK guys, heres the scoop from my dealer experience on this. Dropped it off yesterday and the service manager said he indeed had read the TSB on the clunk and would be talking to FCA about the star case as well. Fast forward to today, a different service guy calls and says they can't find any...
My attempt to simplify this topic.... If you tow regularly, specifically something with decent weight get the 3:92. If you never tow anything or only a few times a year get the 3:21. Guys who tow regularly seem to know MPG's are what they are. I'd rather have the 3:92 for my boat towing needs...
I vote The Bed Utility Group to be a bit of a bait and switch. I paid the $495 and just got the tie down rails. The limited already came with the LED lights. I was thinking it also came with the divider and bed step initially.
I dropped my rig off to my dealer this week for the clunk and water leak. The service manger acknowledged that he did see a TSB on the clunk as well as a few Star cases opened on the same issue. Just an FYI, I am sure some dealers may not of looked or dug deep enough to see it.
FYI I had to go into my setup to get the ECO light to display on my driver info screen. 3:92 gears here too, seeing around 19 MPG with 800 miles on the vehicle.
I'd like to know for sure if its supposed to include the divider, I don't recall anyone getting the divider that ordered the BUG. If that's the case I'm gonna talk to the dealer and have them provide one. Can anyone confirm the divider should of been included?
Right?! I would of totally passed on it based on cost versus what you actually get. And I got the Limited, lol. I really wanted that divider and step!!
I have the BUG but no Ram boxes FYI. Mine only came with the rails and LED lighting. Seems you gotta buy the divider and step. Had I known I would of opted for no BUG.
Add me to the clunk list, late September build date FYI. I have notified the dealer but have yet to hear back. Hopefully they can fix the clunk and the water leaking into the cab when it goes in.
Thanks Edwards, I checked this as well. All of my windows were closed and i checked the moonroof as well. I will report back what my dealer has to say on the matter.
Just took delivery last week (9-28) of a Ram Limited. Within a few hours of taking delivery i have the body creak when turning and a massive interior water leak. This truck was literally built/completed the week of September 17th 2018 FYI. It rained all weekend in my area so my interior is...
