I think I partially caught lightning in a bottle because the truck market in general has seen huge appreciation since 2009. The same truck today sells for ~$40K. That being said, Tacomas, Tundras and 4Runners have some of the best resale value in the industry and actually make a decent...
Me personally, I would wait a year and pay off the truck before I bought a new one. The price of the new ones is only going to keep going down and you will give RAM another year to work out all the kinks in the manufacturing process. As far as equity in cars go, that's why I always bought...
Did you check the pressure while the tires were cold, or after driving? Once they heat up, the pressures can rise 5lbs. Likewise, the pressure on the door jamb is a MAX cold pressure. I usually inflate 1-2 lbs below the max level because the ride is better.
Thanks but I'm referring to the MDS functionality in general. I don't have any indicator lights that show when it's active, at least that I have seen. Good to know the max gear selection deactivates it though. I'm assuming from what I've read thus far here, that this is just cylinder...
The engineers behind these things are some of the best in the world. There may be an impact, but it also may not be a factor in the useful life of a vehicle in today's world. To each his own however.
It still takes some effort and driving with fuel economy in mind. I am averaging 17.5-18 mpg. I have the gauge display set to instant fuel economy and with focus you will get there but you have to try and that's not as fun when you have a HEMI.
Hi Darlene and thank you for the update. As described, this sounds like a different issue than the one that appears to be pointing to the body mount isolators and the bolts being replaced. No one has complained about steering wheel response and most feel the clunk in the floor boards, not the...
I'm averaging between 17-18 mpg with mostly non-highway driving. Highway is only about 10-15% of my driving. I'm also driving for fuel economy and not hammering it a lot. When I do, I'm falling into the high 16's. When I do some highway miles, I'm usually jumping up around 18.5 mpg but don't...
I experience the same issue with my iPhone via CarPlay. So far I have been able isolate two situations where it occurs. It happens when a new song plays and only during the first one or two seconds of the song. It's also only a single "skip" and after that play resumes normally until the next...
Same here. My clunk has diminished over time (1600 miles on the odometer). I took it in and the dealer was useless but in their defense, I couldn't replicate the noise. However they weren't even interested in looking for it or helping me. Can't hear it....can't help you. I asked them for a...
It is what it is. You just have to be patient. As far as I'm concerned, with the number and variety of problems that some people are having with some of them, let them take their time and don't rush them. Some things you just can't control. This is just one of those things where you assume when...
