I love Jeeps...but until Jeep gets the steering problems fixed on the JL / JT platforms, they will never be nice to drive on the road as a DD. I traded an '18 JL Rubi for the Rebel because I couldn't EVER let anyone (familiy memebers) drive the Jeep...it was plain dangerous over 45 MPH.
Go run the beach in Matagorda or High Island areas...Matagorda is like 20+ miles long!! It makes for a fun day of light wheeling, and a fun beach trip.
I went with a Magnaflo (18") because I've had GREAT results with them on other vehicles. I like it on my '19, too...but with the additional resonators, it's not as loud as I would have liked. Sounds great, but not as loud as I was expecting, based on my past experiences. NO drone, though.
I had a 2017 PW. It's big...and you feel it everywhere!! It's big in parking lots and it's big on the trails. Even with the 6.4 it feels under-powered on the highway....it's so heavy!!
I'm running TG - G2's on my 2014 Grand Cherokee...totally different tire size, vehicle, etc...I know. I love them for that car. Over 55k and still a good amount of tread depth left. Never did get noisy, never out of balance, never wore funny. Great traction in all conditions...including...
I noticed that Nitto makes a 35x11.5x18 in a Trail Grappler. Looking at my Rebel, it looks like they *might* almost fit on the stock wheels without a level / lift.
Has anyone tried this set up?
Hoping the narrower tire would help clearances...
