Interesting......I just got an exhaust leak sound on my 2019 Laramie last week. I'm going to check mine right now to see if this flange/hardware is the culprit. Sad to think this happens on newer trucks (mine only has 42k miles).

I have done many searches looking for how to do this but I can't find anything that shows how to tap into the tail light wiring. Does anyone have any pictures or videos showing how to do this? If not the tail light, how about the trailer wiring underneath? I know it's probably been beaten to...

There is a rubber spacer underneath there that makes the seal part stick up. I intend to eventually trim that seal so it fits around it and sits flat. Haven't confirmed if it is "weather tight" yet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
