If you feel the dash is a bit too bright, you can try the Faital Pro units to smooth that out a little... 3 drivers across the dash - from Parts Express. I disconnect the top door speakers to improve the front soundstage and imaging.

The only advantage would be if you noticed a difference. It supposedly eliminates certain noises, but if you did not notice it eliminated those noises or those noises don't bother you, then there really isn't any benefit to you.

Has anyone swapped painted for chrome door handles? I'm assuming it would be fairly easy since the handles seem to come off easily enough. Since I am having my truck wrapped in the Stealth matte PPF, I don't think I want to wrap the door handles. Those seem to be more difficult to get wrapped...
