I had my RAM for 23 months and just over 25K miles. and ended up selling it for $6K more than I paid for it. While I liked the truck, I couldn't pass up that offer.
From my experience with AA through the years, I believe Google's model is "fix it until it's broken"! I find the best way to correct these issues is to go into your settings, apps, AA, storage and clear data and cache. YMMV though.
This was one factor in selling my RAM to Autonation and buying a Yukon. During the 23 months of RAM ownership I went to 3 dealers for service and all three were beyond terrible. Even when I tried to talk with the service managers, they were never "in" and their phones were always on voice mail...
I sold mine to Auto Nation. While Vroom was the highest offer, I didn't like the fact they took the truck and the check was in the mail process. I took my Ram to the closest Auto Nation location and left with a check in hand.
Well… I was fortunate enough to read the vroom message thread and sold my RAM to AutoNation for more than I paid for it after driving it for 23 months and 25K miles.
With the AC issue (despite the TSB), intermittent U-Connect issues, and the complete lack of customer service if two dealers in...
I'm planning on selling mine for almost $3K more than I paid for it in 2019. I will get another truck eventually just not sure if it will be a RAM. While I like RAM, I'm not impressed with their service departments with 2 dealers in my area. Neither one have a clue on customer support and the...
I have an appointment Friday (14 May) with AutoNation who offered me $51.6K and that is indeed more than I paid for the truck. If all works out, we will be down to one car for a bit.
Watching this thread like a hawk Vroom offered $52K and change and Carvanna offered $46K and change. The $52K is more than I paid for my '19 Limited (purchased in June 2020) and it is just shy of 25000 miles.
Overall it's good but I'm having two intermittent issues (sound level drops and Maps go blank on start up and takes 2 - 4 mins to get them back). The last time I showed the service tech a video of the GPS issue but since they couldn't replicate, there was no trouble found. Can't video the...
Snowed in southern oHIo so too cold to wash it outside. Took it to my favorite detail place for a good washing. This is the same place that applied the PPF and ceramic coating last year.
Try this...Go into Settings, Apps, Waze, and Force the Stop. Then go to Storage. Clear the data and cache. Start Waze and log back in.
Also, from my experience Google is notorious for breaking this app on some of the updates.
Absolutely do it! Besides the amazing shine and paint protection, it's sooo much easier to keep clean. I had mine done last year and also had PPF applied to the front of the hood, a-pillars. and the small pained surfaces on the front.
My truck is coated and the foam cannon removes just about all the grime but I do have to do the bug guts separately. After the foam, I use a microfiber mitt and wash with clean soapy (same soap as the cannon) and dry with a good microfiber towel.
I have the Sun Joe SPX3001 and foam cannon. I had the foam cannon once under warranty as the bottle neck cracked. I use Adams Mega Foam and it does a great job for me.
I have to actually go into the office tomorrow so will switch it tomorrow after work or Friday. The good news is the end links will be easier this time around.
