Mopar came through and my new clockspring came this afternoon. The old one was a pain to get out but it went fairly smoothly.
Thankfully installing the clockspring is easier than the removal.
Here is the old and new one next to each other, the old one ends in 01, the new one 02.
I waited a...
I just ordered the replacement part from mopar.com, a couple other places had it $20 cheaper but they had the fastest shipping.

My issue: My right turn signal would not disengage after a turn, if I manually lowered the...
It's been about a week and I do notice some improvements.
Using Android Auto now I get the artist and track name on the bottom screen. Previously I just got the track name.
Might be my imagination but the bass from the speakers also seems more responsive 🤨.
The fan speed menu also looks a...
@BobbyLeeSniper - you are correct. @Solracer posted their video of how they prep and package the lights and that's pretty much what they do.
The problem is the quality of the LEDs from China. I've gone through numerous $20 LEDs from Amazon and they were all crap. Bullseye seems like they found...
I went with the tinted LEDs, finally got them installed on Thursday .

My driver's side headlight took in water and died on me. Mopar refused to warranty the light so I'm going with the Morimoto XB LEDs (GEN 2).
Did the diver's side so I could make a comparison with the stock RAM LED headlight. So far I really like these headlights, these photos were taken...
I did the same thing loading my dad's riding mower in my bed. Thankfully they are cheap and easy to replace, about $40 for both sides. Let me know if you need he part numbers.
Just removed my headlights because my extended 5/60 MAXIMUM CARE warranty sucks b@ll$!
I called Mopar and even though I bought the 5/60 MAXIMUM CARE warranty my faulty headlights are not covered. My truck is only 2 years old but I exceeded 36k miles. I purchased the 5/60 warranty knowing I...
That's how I have it currently setup on my Ram. I used a posi tap to connect the trigger wire on my relay to the HB wire behind the headlight. When I hit the high beams my off-road lights also come on. I also added a switch where my cigarette lighter was located that acts as a master kill switch...
Looking at them on my truck gives me an ear-to-ear smile, just on the inside though, I try to keep a sullen persona on he outside.
I'll be putting some miles on them this weekend. So far, ride is a little more 'truck feeling' but no noticeable road noise. The front rubs so I will have to fix...
LOL. Well I guess until my service package runs out and RAM tries to sell me the extended-extended service plan which swaps plugs at some other ridiculous mileage.
What I paid for today was the mount and balance for the tires and the wheel alignment that I forgot to mention.
The Mopar plan covers all service costs up to 50k miles. I attached the service plan in case anyone is curious about it. The really odd part is plan replaces the plugs at 30k which...
Took her in for the Mopar 40k mile Maximum Care service today
- Engine oil, filter and lube
- Replace air filter
- Spark plugs
- Multi-Point Inspection
- Top off fluids
And she got some new shoes
- Nitto Recon Grappler A/T LT285/55R22
I took my 2020 Laramie to the dealer for the same problem. They had to open up my dash for a wiring problem so I asked to check why the front defroster was blowing hot air down to the floor, which I have no way of turning off.
Last year I had to drive from NJ to MD to pick up a new snow blower...
3 weeks! Hold holy grenade batman.
I think I could dissemble the entire truck myself in 3 weeks. My dealership is not the greatest but at least they got it fixed in only 1 week. If I was you I would find another RAM dealer for my future services.
Just got my truck back last week and the lights are now working. They stated they replaced the body control module and found a shorted out wire behind the dash. It took them a little over a week to figure it out. I can send you a scan of the work summary if you would like.
