Thanks for your input, but I'll continue to ask reasonable questions.

My bad, you're right, that was another poster.

    2025 RAM 1500 BIGHORN 3.0 I HURRICANE twin-turbo, SO, 420HP - check engine light

Fully understand that, but in light of seeing the pressure and temp normal...at least for me, I wouldn't add oil. Again, hope it all gets worked out..clearly a bad sensor. Maybe I missed it, but you have less than 2000 miles on it...would you have ever had the first oil change?

    2025 3.0L I6 K&N Performance Air Intake System

Not the point, you said that performance gains were "cooked numbers", I'm saying, not for tuners. Tuned package are nearly all dyno proven. In my case, my vehicles have been tuned while on a dyno, so the gains, were very real.

true for most things but tuners.

If your oil pressure and temp were normal, why did you put in more oil? Granted you had one sensor saying one thing, but if the two that matter (temp/psi) are good, might not want to add anything. Hopefully the dealer replaces the sensor and understands why you added oil.

Air intake and cat back exhaust upgrade

Exhaust will break in, definitely loud at cold start, quiets down as it heats up.

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?

Remember, that warranty offer is only valid on a MY2026 you purchase before 9/2/2025. It isn't as if that is all purchases on MY2026 Rams. So if you're buying a new truck in the next 4 weeks, you can factor in a larger warranty.

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?

20K on mine, no issues at all, just 540hp roaring down the road.

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?

No, not at all. My comment was the only non-subjective piece of this discussion is that the I6TT HO makes insanely more power than the V8. Everything else is speculation.

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?

not sure at all what that means

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?

540 > 395 It is really that simple if you want to 'guess' at what a motor might do over time.

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?

Funny you compared everything but the actual power numbers of the motors ;) Love the logic on the 'resale won't be as good' comment, and you clearly haven't been in a HO truck....heart and soul is definitely not lacking.

Looking to Buy - 6 vs 8 cylinder?

If you're asking that question, the answer you're looking for is get the V8 (because there is no comparison between the two motors, the TT is far superior in power, the debate is more of which one do you personally believe is reliable). So, with that, get a 2024 don't worry about a 2025 and save...

    ram boxes

Love the Ramboxes, honestly, don't get the hate. I had a F350 with the full bed, not much is lost and I prefer not carrying gear in the cab.

Not able to select 'manual' for tailgate.

Turn off the electronic motor functions I'd think. You can manually shut it with the vehicle off. When you're loading the truck up and have friends with ya, it's a PITA when someone attempts to shut the tailgate (like every other truck) and is met with a fight between themselves and the motors.

Not able to select 'manual' for tailgate.

Found a glitch, and confirmed it is the same on other 2025's - when in Settings/Doors & Locks/Tailgate when you select "Manual" it tells you it "Can't save change". Wonder how many others have this issue?
