I would like to add lights in addition to the OEM bed LED lights that came with the truck. They aren't very bright. Would I be able to connect into the existing power for the existing OEM bed lights and OEM switch?

I use the cargo pole to stop things from sliding forward cover or not. Much easier to hold gas cans and such against the tailgate than strapping them in.

Anthony, did you tap into the existing OEM Light switch in the bed to turn the additional lights on and off?

Mine does the same thing. The lock command is the first thing I send and it doesn't work. If I unlock or lock my doors with the fob and then try Uconnect it works. It's like the truck is in a deep sleep and not listening.

On my 4th Gen and now my 5th Gen I use light electric for my ~5,000 pound trailer and it works fine. This is what the manual recommends Depending on my load, following this procedure my gain is ~4-5 for my trailer with light electric
