If you go the full 2.5 inches you will actually be low in the rear (Cali Lean). This still gives it a near level appearance, doesn't throw codes, allows air settings to operate and seems to be the sweet spot that doesn't adversely affect ride quality.

Mine can be heard and felt, I dislike it. Random on and off. And they certainly could have made it quieter. Takes a while at speed to get it to cut off as well. Other than that still loving the truck.
