For those not wanting the added install costs and ease of returning the truck to stock at a moments notice this sounds like a great solution. I can't imagine the ride quality suffered much from the additional 1/2" of ride height either. I drove around with mine at 1 1/2" additional ride height...
There are several shops in the Katy area that can handle. The shop I went with seemed to have no issue installing. Problem was after I picked my truck up I noticed the front sway bar was missing an end link nut and front was not sitting level as they said it was. Long story short, I called the...
The LED under the tailgate is a great option. I opted for the OPT7 tailgate lightbar with sequential, but at the same time I am one who can't stop modifying a vehicle till its traded or sold, so I am looking to add additional lighting. Probably try to wire for a switch as I won't need the...
Thanks, I'll check next time I'm there. The tailgate light bar provides plenty behind the truck, but might be nice to add for lighting on the sides of the rear bumper.
They aren't too loud initially, but as they wear they do get louder...this is the case with any MT though. Had these on my Tundra a while back...great tire though. Not too loud either. A little music can fix it.
I think you should be able to fit the 285/55r22 tires in there without a lift. I have a slight rub in reverse at full lock on my truck in entry/exit mode (lowest air suspension mode) with the same tires and a 2.5" level. One thing I am unsure of is whether adding the spacers would cause...
I still haven't taken my truck in. Right now I am barely driving the truck as I work from home for the time being. Planning to get in to the dealer to have them take a look here soon though...before I have to start making the 60 mile round trip commute again.
I used the old style Rough Country control arms. They seem to work well, although the control arm has a piece of metal for bracing that comes extremely close to the strut. If it was possible to modify and cut that supporting piece I would definitely make a cut. I will grab some pictures, but so...
SO long as you aren't in the gas the entire time for a freeway commute they actually get decent gas mileage...for having to use supreme that's nice. My Camaro put 609 WHP and 693 WTQ on a dyno and would still get 28 mpg on the freeway.
Shoot, if I had the extra funds right now I'd love to have a Charger 392 to run around in. They are pretty inexpensive for what they are and if I remember the Charger is also a bit quicker than the Challenger stock for stock. I did really love my Camaro SS though, but not enough room for a...
I have posted this before, but I have the Borla Crate muffler made for a Chevy Hot 350 ATAK. I think the sound is great and plenty loud for my liking. I will finally be installing the resonator delete pipes and 5" tips from B2Fab this weekend. Here is a video of the truck cold start without...
Good to know it in probably not necessary to trim the plastic when/if I do this mod. I may just go with a performance dropin filter and charcoal filter delete...I never have my hood open to show off the vararam anyway. We shall see.
Wanting to get the Vararam, but can't justify the cost right now. Too many other expenses on my plate right now.
Is it just me or does it seem like leaving the plastic uncut prevents the hood from sealing properly to the rubber seal on the Vararam and could cause excessive wear on the seal if...
I haven't taken mine in for this yet. Trying to get it video documented for the dealer a couple times and figure out what is causing mine. I do believe that mine does this on hot days with AC running. I am going to try and get a video of what I am referring to today. Mine is almost like a bell...
For the same price as the PC without the gauge this seems like the unit to buy out of the two. I have been contemplating buying the PC, but now I am convinced that the Banks would be a much better buy.
My links are extremely short, but I think I got about a 3/1 level out of the links, daystar pucks and rough country upper control arms.
Hard for me to tell though because I can't find where I recorded the stock measurements from ground to fender.
From what I calculate though the new 285/55R22...
What setting was the picture taken in?
My links measure 2 5/8" from end to end...not eye to eye.
I measure 41" ground to fender in normal mode on 285/55R22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I took my truck up a little in the rear as well to achieve this. I have OR2, but with nearly any weight in the bed...
