Let’s list who’s on BDS lifts and wheel / tire combo.

None whatsoever, and it's been off-road plenty...

    My CB Install

I used a piece of plastic splash guard/mud flap material. I bought a set of them off Amazon a couple years back and have found the generic flat pieces of textured plastic to be very handy for stuff just like this.

So, where’s all the trucks with 4” lift?

I ordered a 4x4 sheet of flat black 3M vinyl from Amazon and made it myself. Then I outlined it with red 3M pinstripe tape. It was a massive PITA but I wanted it to match the Jeep :giggle:

So, where’s all the trucks with 4” lift?

One thing to keep in mind is the rear springs... the factory ORP springs are 1" taller than a regular truck, and the BDS kit is advertised as 4" lift for a regular truck. The BDS literature actually discusses that the rear springs are only ~3" to help eliminate some of the factory rake...

Let’s list who’s on BDS lifts and wheel / tire combo.

I've installed dozens of suspension systems over the years, and several of those have been on A-arm IFS trucks like ours. I have never had such a difficult time with the differential drop bracket setup... This one is tucked up and hidden, and I simply could not for my life assemble the correct...

Air Bag Reviews (Timber Grove or others?)

Thanks guys, I already talked with Steve about 2 weeks back, he told me the bags are the same on his lifted version kits and the standard kits, the difference is just in the mounting brackets.... That's why I was wondering how you came about the 2" longer bags?

Air Bag Reviews (Timber Grove or others?)

RAMREB and RamSco - Do you both have the 2" longer bags?? I talked with Steve at TG and he said the lifted bracket kits and the normal kits he sells all use the same bag, so I'm interested in these extended bags you have? Were they special order or recommended due to the ORP/Rebel package? I...

Check in if you just don't care about modding anymore

I still very much enjoy modifying my vehicles, but I've become a much firmer believer in using the right tool for the job when it comes to installation. I have invested in a 2-post lift, and have amassed a wide selection of "proper" tools to make the jobs easier. I used to do quite a bit of...

    Thoughts on SiriusXM renewal?

The one feature that I enjoy is the real time info on fuel prices... not sure what level of subscription you need to keep that active?

So, where’s all the trucks with 4” lift?

Stock UCA's. That is one benefit of the "full" suspension lift versus a spacer setup - the replacement knuckles maintain the OEM UCA angle geometry (or relatively close to it). Now if you get into using aftermarket coilovers, which could have additional travel compared to the OEM units, an...

    My CB Install

I'm going to say that will be probably pretty tight, definitely outside the perimeter of the factory CD player (or the storage bin on the non-CD setups). For reference, the little Uniden that I installed is about 4-1/2" wide by 1-3/8" high. That was one of my criteria for choosing a CB - I...

    Anyone using a bedrug?

Another Bedrug fan here. My only complaint is that now I'm contemplating adding some sort of side rail system, and the factory holes are hidden behind the Bedrug, I'm thinking it's going to be a nightmare to try and get things lined up properly... :(

    My CB Install

No external speaker. I was a little concerned about it being buried in the console, but honestly it's very clear and has plenty of volume.
