    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

All good, I'm not taking the truck too far out currently. Only 'major' trip coming up is a drive to Atlanta for a convention coming up here on May 9th, then going back to Tallahassee. Couple hundred miles, nothing that it shouldn't be fine to handle for now.

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

I might have to hit you up to fab a couple of the hat bushings you made then, lube your pockets with a quick touch of PayPal grease 👀 I would imagine the sway bar link threads are the same size from 2wd to 4wd, and it looks like the holes in the arms are the same oversized deal, relatively same...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

I found the clinkeddy noise! The sway bar ends are loose in the holes, like you said. What hat washers did you use, out of curiosity? As for the sway bar links even being remotely close to the struts or springs, not a chance with the apparently newer 4WD kit. There is so much space, I could...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Roger. I'll get my pry bar and check the sway bar holes tonight, and make sure the tips are cut. I've got some fresh cutoff wheels and grinding discs so I'll be good there. I'll check the sway bar clearance again as well and get a picture for ya.

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Oh, there's a crazy amount of space ve Oh, I gotcha. I'll get up under it again tonight with ramps and jack stands to go look around at everything again, but from what I recall there was a crazy amount of space for the end link and sway bar between all the other components on the front end for...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Yeah, the 4WD trucks sit significantly higher at factory height than the 2WD because of the front differential and CV axles, then the transfer case and drivetrain angle doesn't help either. As for the tie rod end angle that TittoPollito asked about, they're actually not that severe at all...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Alright, here we go as it sits in my uphill driveway that's kinda tilted: Driver Front: 35" Passenger Front: 34 3/4" Driver Rear: 34 3/4" Passenger Rear: 35" Pretty much exactly 35" all around, corner to corner.

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

I'll pull the measurements tonight if I can find my tape measure when I'm home. Called the twisted metal guys, those bump steer tie rod ends should fit the 4wd front end. Next pay check I'll probably go ahead and order those. Here's another video of a guy with a 2021 4WD, sits exactly the same...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Are you talking about the rear sway bar hitting? I've not had any new fun noises yet for the most part while driving. Also, would that bump steer tie rod end not hit the lower control arm?

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Also went through and checked things much closer in solid daylight, I definitely need that adjustable track bar. Rear axle is shifted to the passenger side a few inches. Ordered a single point adjustable "town" bar from core 4x4 with the poly bushings. Time to tape some weighted string to the...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Hmm, that looks like just a different tie rod end. I know there's going to be some loss of steering when adding 6.5° of caster to the front end with the new upper and lower arms, but the left side hits the arm currently with a little "clack" when coming out of my steep *** driveway every day...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Okay, shop didn't quite cut the stops enough on the knuckle, turn radius suffered a bit. Gonna pick up an aluminum grinder wheel tomorrow on the way home and take care of that carefully in the driveway. Looks easy to get at with the wheel cut to either direction.

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Tastefully lowered, looks nice! I'll have to get some seat time to really evaluate the rear shocks from IHC, but I don't initially have any complaints with a motorcycle in the bed, and all the parts like the step side, bush guards, etc in the bed with it. Ride height is fairly even, with the...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Okay, stock pipes and tips will stay, I found a thread on here where the guys running 2/4 kits and whatnot all just cut the factory mufflers off in place of a Borla ProXS 40353. I'll just have an exhaust shop cut and weld those on, remove the resonators with a short straight shot of pipe, then...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Lowering kit and bump stops that were recommended just showed up tonight. Calling shop to get everything scheduled tomorrow after work around 16:30. For those who have lowered, is there any issues with exhaust hitting the axle that I should be aware of? Going to look at cat-back kits tonight.

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Kit was ordered this morning, been waiting on money from a couple sales to show up in the account before digging into everything. Gonna be calling net audio today to see what all I need for wiring adapters and boxes. Fortunately, this truck is BASE MODEL AUDIO (thank-****) so I don't have any...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Gotcha, gotcha. I'll be keeping it at 3/5 lowering so I'm not as concerned with rubbing, also might ask the guys at IHC later today if they have experience with 0 offset hitting fender/paint versus closer to factory at +19 scrubbing liner. Coming from my old '98 Z/28, I'm no stranger to beating...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

I do wonder if the +19 offset keeping them inside, plus the 285 width of your tires (in regards to Rock Crawler) is some to blame for the fender liner rub, being a slightly taller and wider tire than a stock 20" set up. For the other fellow (TittoPollito) you're running a significantly bigger...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

Woof, looks like you've been top-rope brawling with those leveling switches for the rear bags! Hopefully you get that sorted out for the long term, you've definitely got an unusual spec for your truck with the big cabin size and the extra long bed on 2WD. When you say you have some rubbing...

    IHC 3/5 Lowering Kit on 2020 RAM 1500 4x4

The shop I'm using will be pulling the axle down and out to get all the cuts and work finished up. I unfortunately don't have access to a lift anywhere here in the Tallahassee area, otherwise I would have been more than happy to get this done on my own...
