At light throttle you could definitely hear it, heavy throttle the truck roars, on the highway no drone. Cold starts are the bomb and don’t seem to annoy my neighbors. I wanted a truck that sounds like a truck but didn’t want to be obnoxious about it.
I wish you luck with what you are trying to accomplish, dealers have little inventory and are not under the gun to hit an objective with FCA. The big discounts you have seen were pre pandemic and until vehicles start building up on dealer lots they have no reason to give big discounts other...
Last Friday I went to Carvana checked my 19 Rebel, they came in at just under 43k, I paid just over 44k June 2019, when rebates on RAM’s were huge, WOW o_O, love my truck will not change it. Then checked my wife’s Lexus, they offered me 5k over what I still owe on her lease, that I will do this...
Call the GM or the owner, tell them slick Bob has not returned your call and you are considering canceling the plan, you’ll be surprised how fast he calls back.
Fidelity is one of the largest warranty companies in the country and can be used at any ASE certified mechanic not just the selling dealer. As with most warranties they are negotiable, go over the features and benefits with the finance person, you’ll be surprised at how good that service...
Depends on how long you plan on keeping the truck and how much equity you have. If doing 0% and nothing down, definitely get GAP, would suck if the truck was stolen or totaled in the next 5 years, insurance only pays market value, doesn’t pay the loan. Also you should get a service contract...
My Waze volume used to always work until an update happened, not sure if it was Waze or RAM. Now it just lowers the radio without Waze saying anything.
In the US, getting 0% for 84 forfeited all rebates, probably the same in Canada, so getting 20% off MSRP probably won’t happen. Most dealers are not negotiating very much as they don’t have a number to hit for VGP, they are automatically getting the manufacture money. Look at how much rebates...
Removed the lower grill backing and installed Rough Country light brackets, tomorrow I’ll install the Rigid Radiance light bar. Hope it fits, looks slightly larger than the grill it will be shining through.
I waited 4 months last year for the Gladiator to come out, it finally did. Went in to the dealer hell bent on trading my 01 Wrangler for it, left with a Rebel. Looovvvveee my Rebel.
As the saying goes “pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered.” The finance manager was doing his job to sell you those products. They aren’t bad to have. He could have charged you a lot less for them as they are all negotiable (unless you are in Florida) and you would have probably kept them...
We’re trying it step by step, started with the caps and hardware. I didn’t want to change the side panels just yet as that would of required them to be painted, and no matter how good a body shop is they will never match perfectly the way factory is.
I have attached before and after pictures...
I had mine changed at the dealer today, they replaced the caps and the hardware but left the panels alone. Looks great but for how long? I live in south Florida and just know the sun and heat will probably cause it to warp again.
I bought my truck in June and noticed right away the warping of the RamBox. I started another thread about it as well. Brought the truck to the dealer and opened a star case. They have ordered all the parts to replace the RamBox but I don’t want to have the parts painted, not yet anyways...
Yahoo, applied June 16th, received the check today. Will spend it on something for the truck, probably a flowmaster or light bar for the front and rear.
