Just 2 adults and a kid (she may sleep in the bed). I also like how the bed of the Lone Peak can be lifted up parallel with the roof of the tent. You are swaying me a little tho!
I have a similar setup but with the UpTop rack. I hard mounted a Pelican Vault case using 1/4 T/Bolts and drilling holes through the bottom of the case. Then some rubber washers to waterproof it. I think the Front Runner also uses that same track system if I'm not mistaken. I hope this helps
So far my build has focused of overlanding/exploring. One of the most useful mods id my Diamondback cover with UpTop Overland bed rack.

When mine went out it sounded the same. I took off the belt and started the truck (so the E torque wouldn't be spinning as fast) and the sound went away. I took it into a JDR dealership and it was covered under a special electrical warranty.
I had the same issue. When I went to replace it, both bolts broke off in the flange. 20 min job took me all day because I had to drill them out just to replace the gasket.
Has anyone encountered corrosion with the 7pin wires past the harness that attached to the outlet?
I tried to tap into it and it looks like my wires have a ton of corrosion so no power.
