    Loud horn sound from dash

I believe this happened to my truck yesterday. I was on a work conference call when it started. I thought it was the call that was causing the sound but I ended the call and it was still there. Within a second or two it went away. Interesting. I’ve had the truck for 3.5 years and this is the...

GA Rams - Where ya at?!

Anyone looking for some OEM Sport 22’s? I’m in Canton. https://5thgenrams.com/community/threads/oem-sport-22%E2%80%99s-for-sale-in-nw-atlanta.41060/

What did you do to your Ram today???

Are those an OEM option? If so, would you mind sharing the part numbers?

What does everyone do for a living?

I'm a national accounts project manager in fire protection with a focus on the cable and telco industries. We work with all of the companies that provide the infrastructure for most of the nation to work from home so I am grateful that I've been non-stop through the pandemic.

    N0GL Software Update Thread

Shutdown for me too. I noticed it just as I was pulling the handle to get out and didn’t catch it in time. Cycled through the start options without turning over the engine and it prompted again.

    N0GL Software Update Thread

Was about to update here and see that I'm not the first...which is good. I couldn’t tell you for sure but it does seem like there is a difference, and a good one at that. I’ve had to bring my Mids up while before I felt like I needed to run them down a bit. Overall, it seems like whatever they...

    AmpPro 3 Band EQ Findings

I didn't want to use the ANC bypass for the very same reason. However, I was curious to see if there was as much of a difference as I had read other users say there was. I couldn't really explain what I was experiencing so I figured it would help in my process of elimination and education...

    AmpPro 3 Band EQ Findings

Interestingly, I've recently purchased an ANC bypass harness because I felt like the amp and subs were being held back for some reason. It sounded much better than the factory sub, yes, but it didn't feel like I was getting the performance that I should have. I played around a little bit and...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Sound proofing always helps in my opinion. I think some folks go a little overboard personally but that’s just my opinion. The PAC AmpPro allows for integration into the stock stereo. It provides a full 20-20 signal for connection to amps. It works beautifully. I’m running one for my subs. A...

What did you do to your Ram today???

Sound is such a subjective thing. I have the HK and am severely disappointed in it. Especially the sub bass. Adding polyfill to the stock sub enclosure didn’t do any good. No noticeable change to my ears anyway. I know that one of the engineers that works on the HK system is a member of this...

    AmpPro 3 Band EQ Findings

I didn't notice a difference between the default 3 band settings and the 3 band EQ turned off but, yes, it wouldn't matter. I wouldn't waste another thought on it if I were you though. I just happened to have some time and was curious to see if there was a noticeable difference. This probably...

    AmpPro 3 Band EQ Findings

I did not. However, I’m fairly certain that it affects all of the signal output of the device so adjusting the output level is just going to make your issue louder over all. I wish there was an adjustment per output pair but there isn’t. Sounds like you’ll need to bring down the gain on the sub...

    AmpPro 3 Band EQ Findings

I don't know why I didn't take any more pictures but here's one of the nearly finished work. I had to clean up my wiring and I wasn't happy with my false wall hand cuts so, believe it or not, I marked up using a straight edge and used my Dremel to clean up the opening. I really think the amp...

    AmpPro 3 Band EQ Findings

Hello fellow Ram owners! Today I changed sub amps, added a USB micro extension cable to my AmpPro, and then played around with the 3 Band EQ settings out of curiosity. I thought I'd share the info regarding the EQ findings just for informational purposes. Maybe it will help someone, maybe it...

New to the forum ! My 2020 Laramie 1500 granite crystal night edition and mods !

Nice! I love my granite crystal metallic Laramie. I ended up blacking out all of the emblems so I've got a pseudo night edition. Night edition didn't exist when I bought mine so I did the next best thing. I do like the black sport wheels against the GCM color and darker headlights and tail...

5th Gen Stock Stereo Upgrade Options?

I installed it this past weekend and it works as expected.

5th Gen Stock Stereo Upgrade Options?

Looking at PAC's website, it appears that the only difference between the AP4-CH41 v1 and v2 is that the v2 works with both amplified (Alpine and HK) and non-amplified (base) systems whereas the v1 was only amplified systems. Best Buy has the v1 on sale for $209 right now so I ordered it and...

Water leak and wet carpet (solved)

I’ve been noticing the interior feeling a bit damp and humid lately. Went to get some straps out from under the driver’s side rear seat today and noticed the carpet was a bit wet. Came here and found this thread so I checked and I have the same issue with the sunroof drain grommets. I have yet...

Replacing my TOW mirrors with Power Folding - 10% Cyber Monday

I spent the money for a reason. I couldn't stand the tow mirrors for the same reason gpasetta already mentioned. I had to rely on the BSM and then I still ended up taking my time changing lanes. I suppose I could have gotten used to it but then there's the power folding aspect. I had it on my...
