Got a new set of wheels and tires today. A slight rub I need to address but very happy. 20x10 -18 with 295/60r20 falkens. XDs and BFGs I removed set going up for sale in the for sales area.
Got some new wheels/tires today. Replaced my XDs and BFGs...wanted something a little bigger. From 20x9 0 offset 275/60r20 to 20x10 -18 295/60r20. A little rub in reverse I need to address but very happy. Prior set going up for fire sale...$1500 (no sensors)....<5k miles.
I took mine to a body shop...they removed the trim...roughed up the chrome and painted it. They did have a hell of a time getting tape to stick to the rubber but at the end, it came out great.
I believe the best option which is a lot more money is the bds 4” lift if you are looking to do more than just level the truck. It’s on my list for March install.
No picture but my travel trailer is 8600 lbs with over 1000 lbs of hitch weight. Air suspension leveled it perfectly. Had to put hellwig on and had my BFGs filled to 60s on top of the blue ox having so much tension on it I practically had to lift the back of the truck to control the excessive sway.
Agree have not had any issues with air suspension either and have had it on 4 suvs dating back over 10 years. It’s a must if you tow anything with weight.
Anyone towing a trailer with heavy tongue weight who has lifted their truck? I struggled with getting sway under control with my truck and ended up putting on a Hellwig. Have a blue ox weight distribution/sway hitch. Towing a 8600GVWR travel trailer with 1000 lbs of hitch weight. I would...
Flat paints scratch too easily and can’t really be touched up (talk to any Harley owner with matte finish on their tank and what it looks like after a year of riding)....doubtful until they can address this you will see flat paints on mainstream cars.
If you are using your truck to tow heavy loads don’t get the etorque...it lowers all your capacities. I think it is a little quicker off the line though.
That being said, the pano-sunroof is incredible and coming from a Wrangler I really appreciate it. I would personally chose that over the...
How much different does the pro ride feel? Enough to justify the price? Do you notice all the additional weight from it? What about unhitching is the site isn’t level...is it hard? Thanks!
Agree....for shorter infrequent drives, a 1500 is ok @ 8000 lbs, but the 2500 gas isn't much more expensive and provides significantly more capacity (the 2500 diesel does not because of weight). However, the 2500/3500 cab configurations are horrible. A smaller cab which looks like a super vs...
I have a 2019 sporttrek 32 TT that is advertised 7250 dry. But that means nothing. The sticker on the trailer is actually over 8600 lbs and that is what your truck needs to be able to pull. All that being said, the bigger constraint imo is the payload. I have a limited with the 3.92 which I...
Check out eBay and look up listing for them by Avondale automotive and send a message to Josh who does their online orders. He will take care of you and get you what you need. There are 2 hole sizes for the back-up camera FYI...so you’ll need to work with him to figure out which one is right...
