There are very few forums these days that arent started by people or corps looking to flip a profit. Several forums start up everytime anything comes out be it a next gen vehicle or a new game.
Even some of the well intentioned site owners end up selling out once the user base is big enough...
Cant be disabled (outside of gear toggle), at ~80mph (my typical commute speed) with non-air ride/org it cycles frequently, truck sounds like poop when its running, delay in acceleration out of MDS, likely bad for the engine even if minimally. Would rather eat the maybe 1 mpg I get out of it.
Its purely a software thing, just another feature they could have added with likely little cost to implement but possibly an increase in amount of warranty claims for mirrors wearing out :)
All factors into price of the vehicle, definitely things on the software side of my old BMW I miss that...
Short answer is Its based on perceived load by the ecu, throttle position is a big factor but even something like wind direction could impact it. There are a few threads about it already as well as the only way to shut it off (going into manual gear selection / 8)
I was originally going to try to run just the front pieces of the 2” mopar kit to level mine out but that wont work with the ORP so just going to do the daystar KC09145BK 1.5” spacer up front instead. This is what daystar told me:
In my opinion if you’re going to lift (which you will for 35’s), dont get the OR package because most kits will end up replacing the components or not support the springs in the ORP.
If I could redo with just skid plates I would, but ORP with level will suit my 33/34 needs. Plus I wanted...

This was after purchasing a 2010 Sierra 2500 to try and have both two months previous, ended up liking the commute better in the 2500 so decided to consolidate.
First day of commuting in the RAM happy with my choice.
