Laramie Night Edition Wheel color and touch up paint

I was not paying attention and curbed my wheels, not real bad, but still want to fix them so its not so noticeable. I did a lot of research on this forum, and it seems owners used the following paint: MOPAR Wheel Touch Up Paint OEM and Testors 1139TT Enamel Paint, 0.25 Oz, Semi-Gloss Black...

    Comparison to Mega Cab

IMO, go for the Laramie edition in the 1500. You get reclining rear heated seats. Plenty of room for the two adults kids, plus two Labradors.

    Windshield corner Ram head emblem

It may not be OEM, I had my 21 Ram's windshield replaced and the local glass shop asked, do you want aftermarket or the one with the Ram's head in the corner. I got one with the Ram's head. My new 24 has this same imbedded decal.

I'll have to admit, I feel a bit left out of all these Hurricane discussions....but......

I agree with you. I got a great deal on the 24 Laramie I have always wanted. I looked at the 25's, but my own personal choice is to not buy a new model with the new Hurricane, also I love the Hemi. I am hoping that with the leadership change with Stellantis, that they bring it back a newer...

    Can... he... tow it?

The weight from the trailers WDH is not distributed in the same way, as a non lifted truck. When the factory tested your truck the payload and towing numbers on the yellow sticker do not account for a lift kit, but a stock vehicle as it comes off the line.

    Can... he... tow it?

I would not recommend it. The WDH, springs, air bags and the new sway bar, all do not contribute to adding payload. Your 2" lift alone take away payload. Depending what your yellow sticker says then adding up 10% of gross, 770 lbs. plus 100 lbs. for the hitch and two passengers, puts you well...

Wheel well liners - best price

Good morning I want to add these to my truck before winter hits, where is the best place to buy them at a reasonable price? Some online Mopar sites want to charge $365 to ship. I have not checked my local dealer yet.

    Can I tow this much?

I agree. OP will be limited in both payload and tow capacity due to the V-6 and and 3:21 gears. My previous truck had the hemi and 3:21 gears, towing a heavy bumper pull at around 7k. Once I got the truck and rig to 60-65 mph, it was fine, but getting there was sometimes an issue. I felt I...

    Can I tow this much?

Agreed, get the OEM brake controller installed by the dealer. I have had aftermarket ones installed by the RV dealers when I didn’t know better, and they did the job, but some had to be level in order to work, or you banged your knee on them. Ram did a great job with designing it seamlessly...

33 gallon tank and fuel gauge

I agree, as a civil engineer I feel they calculated to much of a factor of safety into it, or it’s a bad software issue.

33 gallon tank and fuel gauge

I agree, after a combination of in town and some interstate driving, I fuel up a day or two after light comes on. I typically fuel up and it’s around the 26-28 gallon range. So if I have 5 or 6 gallons left and my on board computer shows 15 mpg, it’s pretty close to the 90 miles left to empty.

Demand For Electric Pickup Trucks Continue To Decline

I agree with you. Not sure if it’s been brought up, but temperature really hurts the electric trucks battery. My work has a new Ford Lighting and we joked that it would not make it 2 hours away in the winter time with out stopping for “fuel”. Not really conducive for a typ. Nebraska winter...

Towing with 2023 1500 Big Horn Super Crew 5.7L eTorque 3.21 axle

I agree with the other posts, only thing I would add is to change out the tires to a Light Truck tire. You dont need to go crazy with a D or E rated tire, IMO a good XL is fine, as long as the side walls are stiffer. Once you are all loaded, you will notice the difference, no more "squishy"...

    Can I tow this much?

Its one thing to tow a trailer, quite another to stop it, or even control it while your on the interstate, at 60 mph being passed by a semi. That can be a dangerous white knuckle experience if you have an undersized tow vehicle. I was not in an accident , but quickly learned that my dodge...
