I believe you are thinking about the G80. It does need something like 180rpm to engage, but it’s locked at that point unlike a true limited slip.

The Truetrac is proactive vs reactive and wants to keep both wheels spinning as the same or similar speed, up to a 3:1 ratio. If you power through the 3:1 ratio, one wheel receiving more then 70% of the power, the Truetrac becomes an open differential. Hopefully the brake limiting traction...

I would have to see it up close and most pics I’ve seen aren’t focused on the mount location. I would need to be able to wrap a rope only on the frame mount, not the grill guard.

Brand new 2024 similar issue. I can see the heated circle almost immediately on my passenger side but it takes maybe 5 minutes before driver side mirror starts to defrost. Weird.
